Description
This walk will take you through the humid plains of the Vallée de l?Eau Blanche (White Water Valley), a Natura 2000 site. You will also travel along the Grande Traversée de la Forêt du Pays de Chimay (Great Crossing of the Chimay Forest) for a few hundred metres.
Trees/flora along the way: remarkable trees ? large-leaved lime, 19 examples behind the Church of Saint Lambert. Flora in the hayfield and pasture land, oak and hornbeam grove
Local fauna: red-backed shrike, whinchat, northern shrike, grey heron, common buzzard, European honey buzzard, deer, hare
Lakes: Eau Blanche (White Water) river, Boutonville stream
