Gedinne is located in the province of Namur, deep in the Belgian Ardennes . On its territory more than 400 kilometres of roads have been signposted. The heights of Croix Scaille – one of the highest points in the country – are perfect for hikers. Gedinne is surrounded by nature and at the same time only a half an hour's drive away from Bouillon and Han-sur-Lesse , two places absolutely worth a visit of you are in the area.

Redu [14km]

The village of Redu , one of the smallest in the Belgian Ardennes, is paradise for book, enthusiasts. Come browse through the second hand book stores and explore this adorable little town. Redu is surrounded by the beautiful nature of the province of Luxembourg and thus perfect for a great hike. Additionally, two charming places in the Belgian Ardennes, Rochefort and Han-sur-Lesse , are just a half an hour's drive away.

Vencimont [17km]

Vencimont is a small village in the province of Namur and belongs to the municipality of Gedinne, where many signposted hikes are to be found. It is one of the last places before crossing the border with France and is the perfect spot to start exploring the Belgian Ardennes by foot or by bike. Furthermore, Vencimont is just a 40 minutes' drive away from Rochefort and Bouillon , two charming Ardennes cities.
