This 3-star holiday home is the ideal place to relax. Our favourite? The beautiful, sun-drenched garden with spacious terrace, cosy sitting area and swing. The ideal place for an extensive aperitif in the sun or for a cosy (winter) barbecue. If you prefer to take some time for yourself, we recommend you read your favourite book close to the fire or, if the weather is nice, on a sun lounger in the garden. Perhaps the best remedy for stress.
You will be staying in the province of Hainaut, a few kilometres from the French border and the town of Chimay. Even closer, you will find the Lakes of l’Eau d’Heure: these are a must visit. Diving, sailing, jet skiing, etc. The lakes are the ideal place for those who enjoy an active holiday. You can also visit the largest dam in Belgium. Our personal favourite in the area? A brisk walk in the Fondry des Chiens nature reserve. A spectacular place with beautiful landscapes. For a nice walk with the kids – including picnic – we recommend you go to Couvin for a walk. A favourite of Ardennes-Etape parents.
In short: a holiday with the whole family here is the ideal way to recharge your batteries all year round.
You can walk to the village in 5 to 10 minutes where there are various (catering) businesses.
It is not allowed to organise student parties, bachelor parties, drinking parties,…
Mooi huis, met mooie grote kamers en mooie tuin. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangstet streekbier en kaas. Gezellige warmte van de pelletkachel.
We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Het huis was heel ruin en netjes. Mooi uitzicht en een grote tuin waar de kinderen en hond lekker konden spelen. De ligging was ook heel fijn. Overal om ons heen was ruimte en mooi uitzicht.
Très bon accueil, une belle maison bien grande, un grand jardin très agréable, un hangar très pratique pour ranger les vélos.
Ruime woning met grote, zonnige tuin. Aparte speelkamer op het benedenverdiep is een plus. Grote, comfortabele slaapkamers.

Heel mooi verblijf in een prachtige omgeving. De tuin is heel gezellig en zeer goed onderhouden. Het ontvangst was zeer hartelijk en het huis is zeer ruim en van alles voorzien. Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

We en famille avec nos enfants et petit enfant. Maison super confortable et bien équipée, adaptée pour une grande famille . Nous avons pu profiter du joli jardin bien orienté et de la terrasse car la météo a été formidable. La propriétaire , très sympathique, nous a donné les bons plans de la région. La campagne est superbe et la maison bien placée pour découvrir la région, qui mérite vraiment une visite. Le petit Spar du village nous a bien dépanné également. Nous aimerions revenir.
Nous avons passés un tres agréable week-end en famille, la maison est chaleureuse, super bien agencée et très bien équipée , la vue est surprenante, les commerces et le lac de l’eau d’heure sont accessibles en moins de 15min en voiture. Nous y séjourneront certainement de nouveau
Heel leuk familieweekend gehad. Een zeer net en groot huis . Alles was aanwezig. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en heel goede respons van de eigenaar.
Très chouette maison, spacieuse et bien équipée, et très beau jardin. Le poêle à pellets a été le bienvenu en ces premiers jours de froid. Le village est à distance très facile à franchir à pied ou à vélo. Région qui mérite d'être découverte. Super accueil. Vraiment un excellent week-end en famille, on reviendra, cette fois avec le soleil.
Hôte très accueillante et disponible, espace de vie vraiment grand, jardin très beau avec meubles de jardin et jeux pour enfants.
Genoten van twee fijne weken in dit heerlijke vakantiehuis met veel ruimte in en om het huis. De omgeving biedt veel mogelijkheden voor mooie wandelingen. Ook genoten we o.a. van het Natura Parc (boomklimpark), bezoek aan de stuwdam en het zwemwater in Les Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure. Veel lof voor de huiseigenaren, die ons bij autopech zo vriendelijk aan een lift hebben geholpen! Ook de hartelijke ontvangst (met vers fruit en eitjes en opgemaakte bedden) was top!
We hebben erg genoten van het verblijf in het huis. De woning is ruim, goed onderhouden en comfortabel. Het huis ligt prachtig, boven op een heuvel met een heel mooi uitzicht. Er is een ruime tuin met veel speelgelegenheid voor kinderen. De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. We kunnen dit huis zeker aanbevelen.
