During your stay, you will not only fall for the authentic charm of your cottage; the valley of the Eastern Ourthe, near Gouvy, also offers a range of wild, remote locations for you to explore. And you don't have to go far: you can dive into the forest just 100 metres from your holiday home! Our recommendation for a brisk walk and a breath of fresh air? The ‘Valley of the Ourthe’ loop which is part of the GR57. Here, you will discover wild and remote places you can hardly imagine. Bonus: Baraque Fraiture, one of the highest peaks in the Ardennes, is a 20-minute drive from your holiday home.

Het was een leuk vakantiehuis. Met leuke indeling. De anciënniteit van het huis kun je nog opmerken. Alleen jammer dat kicker er niet was (volgens de eigenaar is die stuk gegaan) de keuken zijn de meubels te herstellen. En ook een lichtschakelaar die niet werkt in de keuken.
Een rechtstreeks contact bij aankomst is altijd aangename. Sommige zaken die op de foto's stonden waren niet aanwezig ( bv tafelvoetbal, de barbecue was er, maar zeer vuil .
Très bien située pour des départs de petites balades en forêt dépaysantes en quelques minutes.
La maison est vraiment très sympathique et accueillante. Bien équipée et spacieuse. Les quelques "bémols" sont: l'état de propreté de la terrasse, la chambre à 5 lits où il faisait très chaud (malgré que la température extérieure ne dépassait pas les 12°C (sans doute à cause de la chaudière juste en dessous) et la plaque de cuisson qui chauffait toujours très fort (pas moyen de cuire à feu doux), et enfin quelques restes de nourriture dégradée dans les armoires de la cuisine.

Good price quality holiday home
Huis is wat afgeleefd, rare draaittrap die erg smal is en hobbelpaard en tafelvoetbal(die op foto staan) waren kapot, kartonnen dozen in de kamer en geen hout aanwezig voor de houtkachel(was handig geweest als we dit hadden geweten vooraf). Omgeving zoals verwacht en het wel met 6 volwassen en 1 baby gezellig gehad. Stroom problemen in de badkamer.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le gîte Le Paisible qui est adapté pour accueillir un grand groupe (mais attention ce sont des chambres à plusieurs lits). Le salon et la salle à manger sont très agréables avec le poêle à bois. Les lits sont confortables. Le gîte a du caractère par son aspect rustique mais certaines choses devraient être rafraîchies pour la sécurité (escalier en colimaçon, carrelages, etc.). Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de rencontré l'hôte. Merci pour le séjour.
Maison idéalement située pour les balades. Grands espaces communs. Bon rapport qualité-prix.
Nous avons passé un super week-end dans une maison pleine de charme, un nid parfait pour l’automne ! Comme lu dans les commentaires, un des escaliers fait effectivement peur mais à part ça tout est super bien entretenu et agréable. Le cadre est charmant, nous avons pu marcher et profiter de l’automne, l’accès au gîte était rendu très facile également. Merci !

Négligence de l'entretien
Vakantiehuis dat volgens mij verkoeling geeft in de winter. De draaitrap naar de slaapkamer is niet zo stevig meer. Dichtbij vertrekpunten voor wandelingen en fietsen en eventjes rijden en er is een spar. Je kan te voet om brood bij een lokale automaat. De tuin is weelderig maar best ok voor ons.
Voor een weekend is dit prima kwa prijs kwaliteit
