In the midst of a beautiful hilly area, just a few kilometres away from Huy, one of the wings of the Baya Castle has been converted into a holiday cottage and awaits you for an enchanting stay. With its seven bedrooms and three bathrooms, this spacious accommodation is ideal for group stays. You will find comfortable living areas and a very well equipped kitchen. Your children will enjoy the two games rooms available, equipped with table football and Ping-Pong table. They will also have fun outside where there are swings, a sandbox and even a petanque terrain. Private parking with 10 spots is at your disposal.
Cycling is an excellent way to visit the region and discover all its natural jewels, it is strongly recommended to go to B.Cycl in Huy, where you can rent mountain bikes and road bikes. There are signposted trails from the rental point and you can also choose to be accompanied by a guide. In Huy, you can also visit the Notre-Dame collegiate church, built between the 14th and 15th century. And, also near your accommodation, a visit to the Castle of Modave is a must. Plus, the majestic surrounding area will charm you. You can even find a restaurant in the outbuildings of the castle. Among the natural wonders of the region, the Bocq Valley is worth a visit and you can explore it aboard a tourist train that travels through the heart of the valley offering breath-taking panoramas.

De woning is beschikbaar tot zondag 20 uur. Daardoor kan men nog ten volle genieten van de zondag en op een rustige manier alles opruimen. Het speelplein is zeer handig, al vraagt het wat voorzichtigheid om de straat over te steken.
Originele locatie bij kasteel. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en alles naar wens. We brachten er met onze familie een heel fijn weekend door.
Gite bien aménagé pour un séjour en famille. Dommage que la plaine de jeux et le terrain de foot soient à l'autre côté de la route. Les enfants ne peuvent y aller seuls!
Tweede keer verbleven met een vriendengroep, toffe locatie met een nette en gezellige gite, goed uitgeruste keuken is een meerwaarde.
Woning is voor 17 personen maar hiervoor zijn er te weinig badkamer en wc's.
Heel mooi en ruim vakantiehuis met het nodige comfort maar geen overdreven luxe. Wij zijn een familie met 10 volwassenen en 5 jonge kinderen en er was voldoende ruimte voor iedereen, ook de slaapkamers waren ruim. Het speeltuintje was aan de overkant van een heel rustige straat gelegen, dat was een beetje spijtig maar zeker niet echt een probleem. We maakten mooie wandelingen en werden getrakteerd op prachtige uitzichten.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. De premier abord la pièce principale faisait un peu vieillot, mais la fonctionnalité de la cuisine, de la pièce de vie et des chambres font de ce gite un très chouette endroit. Il faut savoir que pour monter dans les salles de jeux, il faut passer par les chambres. La cuisine est super fonctionnelle et très bien équipé. Le terrain autour est superbe.

Fijn huis waar onze hele familie ruimte zat had en heerlijk kon vertoeven. Fijne ruimte voor de kinderen om te spelen.
We werden uitstekend ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Prima verwelkoming in het Nederlands en we mochten zelfs vroeger in de woning Alles werd netjes uitgelegd. Slaapkamers waren ruim, netjes. Keukenmateriaal voldoende voor een grote groep. Meubels in woonkamer / salon wel gedateerd, maar niet storend. Kortom we hebben een fijn weekend achter de rug.

Alles bij elkaar was t ons niet echt tegengevallen, maar onderhoud van het speelveld is slecht en de picnicbanken op de binnenplaats waren erg laag. Niet om te zitten met t eten voor volwassenen. Slaapkamers, bedden, badkamers en toiletten waren goed verzorgd en schoon !! Ook de voorzieningen in de keuken erg goed. We hebben alles bij elkaar een goed verblijf gehad vooral omdat we alles buiten konden doen.
Zeer leuke tijd gehad. Een toffe ontvangst en bij problemen konden we direct bij de verhuurders terecht die ons snel konden verder helpen. Weer aangenamen ervaring. Gezien de hitte mochten we ook gebruik maken van de zwemvijver en dat was een leuke extra.
Zeer ruime, propere en goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning. Uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars (dewelke aanpalend wonen). Rustige en mooie omgeving, met zeker de kasteeltuin en -vijvers als pluspunt. De tuin, die aan de overkant van de straat gelegen is, is goed uitgerust voor kinderen. Het speelmateriaal ziet er wat gedateerd uit soms, maar werkt nog perfect.

Zeer fijn verblijf met vrienden en kindjes
Een weekend verbleven met een vriendengroep, ruime keuken met alles aanwezig, rustig gelegen. Zeker een aanrader.
Le gîte, situé dans un environnement magnifique, était parfait pour notre famille... Accueil très cordial et à l'écoute de la fille des propriétaires ; nous n'avons manqué de rien. Encore merci !!
Nous 8 adultes et 9 enfants avons passé un excellent week-end . Cuisine super équipée. Chambres spacieuses. tout était parfait. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentil accueil.
