Holiday house for eight people in the Ardennes (Vresse-sur-Semois)

Located in a lovely Ardennes village, this charming cottage awaits you with its bohemian style, three bedrooms, and the woods and the Semois river nearby. Kayaking and swimming: it's all here!

The owners have entirely renovated this village house from the '50s. And the result is gorgeous! They love flea markets and spent a long time decorating this house to give it a unique character and a strong personality. Our favourite detail? The contrast between its traditional rustic exterior and the fancy interior.

Church windows in the kitchen, travel trunks in the bedrooms, a wrought iron railing, a collection of mirrors in the lobby, a cathedral dining room, the walkway leading to the rooms... Every corner of the house is likely to surprise you.

Besides, the structure of the house also offers a lot of variety and rhythm, which makes it a very fun, inviting, and pleasant place to stay, both indoors and outdoors. Outside, there is a small path that crosses the garden and takes you to a couple of charming terraces with trees and wisteria, a stove, a barbecue and... plenty of calm!

And if the decoration is based on fantasy, the comfort is truly 3 stars: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living area that is open and bright...

This charming cottage is set in the middle of Vresse-Sur-Semois, a typical village of the Ardennes in the province of Namur. Walking around is a pleasant experience in itself.

Also, you will find several activities less than a half-hour drive away from your cottage. Go on a kayak excursion, spend a day at Récréalle Recreation Center, admire the magnificent view at Frahan in Rochehaut, have fun on the ski slopes, visit a petting zoo, head to Rochehaut or Bièvre to grab a bite... Our favourite place? The Garden of Owls and its majestic birds of prey.

We zijn uitstekend ontvangen door de eigenares. Ze heeft ons een uitstekende rondleiding gegeven. Chapeau voor het mooie renovatiewerken ! Het huis is perfect voor kortverblijven. Als je een week of langer verblijft mis je wel een wasmachine (na de talrijke, modderige, wandeltochten is die meer dan welkom), opbergmogelijkheden in de badkamers...

Prachtig huis, alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Zeer fijn onthaal, met voldoende uitleg. Comfortabele bedden. De inrichting is heel knap, met oog voor detail. We hebben ook genoten van de pelletkachel. Vanuit de woning kan je prachtige wandelingen maken. Misschien een tip voor de eigenaar, bezorg de huurders een kopietje van de wandelingen. Kortom, we hebben genoten en komen graag terug!

Super 14-daags verblijf gehad. We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaars zelf. Het huis is heel mooi gerenoveerd met oog voor details. Je voelt je er direct thuis. Het huis ligt in een rustig dorp in een prachtige wandelomgeving. We komen zeker nog eens terug in de zomer.

Zalige vakantie gehad! Knappe inrichting, goed uitgeruste keuken, super bedden, mooie badkamer en ideaal met hond. Een aparte WC beneden en een diepvriesvakje in het huis zelf zouden ons verblijf perfect gemaakt hebben!

Mooi vakantiehuis in het centrum van Vresse. Vriendelijke ontvangst van de gastvrouw. Zeer goed keukengerief aanwezig. Tuin heel goed afgesloten voor de hond. Enige minpuntje was geen toilet beneden aanwezig en een leuning voor de bovenste slaapkamer zou heel goed zijn.

Erg gezellig huisje in dorpskom met leuke binnentuin. We waren er met een gezin van vier in een november weekend. Super gezellig om binnen te zitten (alles dicht bijeen maar wel ruim en stijlvol). Wandelingen in de buurt (vresse, bohan...) Zijn top.

We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw en nadien hebben we een mandje met lekkers ontdekt! De keuken is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt voor een aangenaam verblijf. De bedden liggen heerlijk en het grote bad zorgt eveneens voor ontspanning. De tuin is een verborgen parel, het speeltuig viel meteen in de smaak bij de kinderen...

Het was een heel leuk vakantiehuis. De kamers en badkamers waren prima en in de keuken was echt alles voorhanden. De ligging was perfect, vlakbij de Semois en prachtige wandelroutes. De kamers zijn niet geschikt voor heel oude mensen omdat ze enkel bereikbaar zijn via de trap, ook beneden is er geen toilet voorzien, maar voor ons was dat geen probleem.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement très bien équipé, la cuisine ne manque de rien, il y a tout le nécessaire et en suffisance. Le logement était propre, et chaud à notre arrivée Les chambres sont spacieuses, la litterie propre et comfortable. Il faisait froid dehors au moment de notre séjour et le poele à pellets apporte un complément de chaleur bienvenue Attention à ne pas trébucher sur la dernière marche de l'escalier qui est un peu décallée.
