This wonderful old farm, which has undergone restoration, offers you a 3-star stay in five ensuite bedrooms. It stands in a beautiful setting!
This stunning farmhouse, built using dressed stone, has been fully renovated, but kept its old beams, and is nestled in the heart of the Little Switzerland of the North. The owner has created an original space in the living room with a mezzanine, a fantastic fireplace, and stairs that seemingly float in the air. An unbelievable stay that holds the promise of lovely evenings by the fire spent putting the world to rights or playing board games! You’ll certainly enjoy the spaciousness and light!
This house awaits you in northern France in a region offering small valleys, forests, waterways, and wooded countryside. This land is reminiscent of Switzerland; hence, it famously also being known as the Little Switzerland of the North. In addition to the wonderful landscapes, which are an opportunity to walk to your heart’s content, you can also enjoy many tourist activities: sailing, swimming, fishing, and tennis… There is something for everyone here! Mooi huis van alle gemakken voorzien, echter de keuken, in vergelijking met de rest van het huis wat aan de kleine kant. De openhaard in de woonkamer is echt geweldig en zorgt voor een sfeervol moment, grote houtvoorraad aanwezig hier werden geen kosten in rekening voor gebracht. Ook de palletkachel is een enorm pluspunt. De tuin goed uitgerust met veel tuinmeubilair waar we de zondag ook gebruik hebben kunnen maken. De gastheer Guy is een aardige vriendelijke man die je hiep waar nodig.

Ik verbleef hier met mijn schoonfamilie (Schoonmoeder, zwager/schoonzus/volw neef en mijn eigen gezin: man en 2 volw kids) aan ruimte absoluut geen gebrek in dit huis met karakter. We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door de goedlachse eigenaar van het huis en voelde ons zeer welkom. Het huis heeft alles maar is wel wat verouderd, en op de bovenste verdieping is het erg warm! De keuken is niet groot maar wel voorzien van alle gemakken. Tuin + omgeving zijn echt top!!

Zeer speciale woning en stijl, absoluut pluspunt is de mooie en eindeloze tuin en het zonnige terras waar alles aanwezig was voor een fijn verblijf. Mooie streek om te wandelen.

La localisation est top, acces aisé à la réserve naturelle, jardin magnifique, etang, moutons, poules,... grande terrasse, salons de jardin, parking facile. La maison est très belle, mais dans son jus des années 70, les chambres ont tt ce qu'il faut mais datent des années 70 (avec aussi son charme malgré tout). La gentillesse de l'hote (Guy est très sympathique, très discret et à l ecoute).

La grande force de cette maison est le dépaysement proposé ainsi que le salon qui est absolument magnifique. L'hôte est très sympathique, les chambres sont confortables et le fait d'avoir chacun sa baignoire/douche rajoute un plus. La grande salle à manger avec vue sur le jardin (accessible) est aussi merveilleuse! Très satisfait de ce séjour, je recommande grandement.

Fijn en net huis met bij elke slaapkamer een badkamer en met een mooie tuin. Baives is een heel rustig dorpje in een mooie streek met veel wandelmogelijkheden. Intussen is er een grote oven voorzien en zijn er twee grote ijskasten. De keuken is wel erg klein voor 10 personen.
