This former farmhouse, located just a few kilometers from Bastogne, province of Luxembourg, was recently renovated in 2012 into a very comfortable holiday home for no less than 16 people. What could be more fun than booking a holiday with the whole family in the Belgian Ardennes and enjoying a pleasant group accommodation with a wood stove and multiple private bathrooms. The holiday home's decor and furnishings have been thoughtfully chosen for both young and old. The children will be over the moon when they discover the trampoline, with safety net, and slide with swing! And the (young) adults will have a great time playing a game of petanque or basketball, while the barbecue is preheated for a delicious meal. Also in the large living room with cozy seating area, wood stove, radio/CD player and cable television with DVD connection, it is wonderful to stay. Convenient: the entire house has wireless internet connection. The living room flows into the dining room and nostalgic kitchen, where the beautifully arched stone ceiling immediately catches the eye. Although somewhat dated, you will find all the necessities for a pleasant stay, such as a dishwasher, microwave, oven and large refrigerator. Also equipment such as a toaster, (Senseo) coffee maker and soup mixer is available. The gite has five colorful bedrooms, each with a private bathroom with sink and shower. The largest bedroom is located on the top floor. In the adjoining private bathroom there is also a lovely bath. For the little ones there is a crib and high chair available.

The holiday home is only 3 kilometers from the 101st Airborne Museum. Be sure to also visit the Mardasson Memorial, an impressive monument in memory of the horrific battle that the Allies fought. The holiday cottage is not only close to the forest, but also just 1 kilometer from RAVel, the famous 'slow' road network especially for riders, cyclists, walkers and skaters in Belgium. Former railway lines, towpaths and other roads lead you along the nicest towns and most beautiful spots in the Ardennes. During your stay in the holiday home near Bastogne, it is definitely recommended to go out on foot for an afternoon. If you prefer to cycle, head to the town of Houffalize, also known as the mountain bike capital of Belgium.
