La maison est idéalement située, la vue est magnifique et nous avons profité des balades autour du lac. Les lits sont cependant très inconfortables et l’insonorisation avec l’autre gîte est insuffisante. Nous avons été déçus par rapport aux gîtes habituellement proposés sur le site Ardennes-étape.

Qua ligging kan je je als wandelaars niet veel beters voorstellen, ideaal voor onze ochtendwandeling met de hond. Na 3 km stappen sta je in het centrum van Butgenbach met voldoende horeca, dit was zelfs nu met een ferm laagje sneeuw goed te doen. Zeer gedienstige verhuurder, hij kwam zelfs de sneeuw ruimen voor onze deur en rond de auto. Enig minpunt, het sanitaire gedeelte, als +65-ers is het niet evident om over de hoge badrand in- en uitstappen, een make over met douche en tweede WC zou top z

Dit vakantiehuis was voor ons zeer goed. Als we 1 ding mochten veranderen dan zou het leuk zijn als de tuin volledig afgesloten zou zijn, aangezien honden daar welkom zijn. Zo kan je de hond zonder zorgen in de tuin laten. Maar dit is uiteraard een detail. Het huis was super gezellig met een top uitzicht.
