Are you looking for a dream place for your next family holiday? This charming holiday home is within walking distance of the forest and you will feel right at home. Imagine: light wood ceilings and floors, a small but charming open kitchen, light streaming in everywhere, a cosy terrace with jacuzzi, access to the swimming pool… Everything has been provided so you don’t have to think about anything but relaxing. Our favourite? The beautiful mezzanine room under the roof, a cosy cocoon with sturdy wooden beams. Do you like to make time for an extended breakfast during your holiday? Stroll down to the local bakery for something delicious from the bakery, or crispy bread rolls.
Ciney is a sympathetic town in the Condroz, a region dotted with charming villages, farm castles and picturesque towns. The relief – with impressive rock walls rising from the banks of the Meuse – creates beautiful landscapes and breathtaking panoramas. And we haven’t even mentioned the beer yet. When you hear “Ciney” do you immediately think “Blond or Brown”? This regional beer is unsurprisingly world famous. Do you want to make it a themed weekend? Rochefort and Maredsous are not too far away. Cheers!

Prima plekje voor max. 4 personen. In hoogzomer wel erg warm binnen en geen airco waardoor wij veel last hadden van muggen. Beddengoed betrof badstof onderlakens waarbij wij persoonlijk katoen prettiger vinden. De eigenaren zelf waren erg vriendelijk en gastvrij dus al met al een prima verblijf gehad!

Het was een zeer aangename ervaring, met attente en behulpzame hosts. Fijne bedden, een praktische keuken, en een goede badkamer maakten het helemaal af. Daarnaast zijn er ook goede voorzieningen voor kinderen. Kortom, zeer zeker een aanrader.

De ontvangst was heel hartelijk en vriendelijk. De gastheer sprak heel goed Nederlands en was heel behulpzaam. We konden bij hem terecht met elke vraag en hij heeft ons verschillende tips gegeven van bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Hij had een hele lieve en brave hond. Voor het huis is voldoende parking en in dezelfde straat is een kleine supermarkt. Dit is een echte aanrader.
