This 3-star holiday home located in Couvin, in the province of Namur, has been developed in the annexe of a listed farm. A lovely place to be! This holiday home is large enough for 18 guests to holiday together, while still giving each person their own private space.
This charismatic farmhouse in Couvin has been converted with care. The building has retained its original charm. This holiday home consists of two parts: one part for six guests and the other for twelve guests.
There are two kitchens, one in each part, both well equipped for preparing delicious meals. They contain a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a fridge with an ice compartment, a freezer, a blender, etc. The vaulted dining room is simply stunning! It is the perfect place for getting together for a great meal with the family.
The eight bedrooms are well furnished. There are also seven bathrooms. Almost all the bedrooms have their own bathroom with a bathtub or shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. There is a separate toilet on each floor.
There is a little stream?–?the Eau Blanche?–?in the unenclosed garden. It is necessary to keep an eye on small children but this stream will allow you to enjoy some wonderful fishing. This will be one of the great memories of your stay! Prepare a delicious meal on the BBQ grill with the rest of your group. The patio is large enough for all of you to eat together!
In the event of bad weather, a games room is available, with children’s games, a TV, and a DVD player. You’ll also find a TV in each living room, so you can watch a good movie together.
Explore the Virelles Aquascope with its aquatic space, its pond and its projection spaces to learn more about nature. In Virelles, you can also visit La Grange aux Papillons, a space where more than 300 butterflies fly freely in a magnificent setting full of plants and flowers.

Les 2 gîtes sont super, a louer seuls ou ensemble. Nous avons loué les 2 gîtes et avons utilisé le grand pour les repas et activités intérieures. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Je ne viendrais malheureusement pas à la belle saison avec des enfants car pas de sécurité par rapport à la rivière et à la route. En hiver, on sort moins et toujours les enfants sous surveillance. Mais le cadre est vraiment magnifique. Tout était top dans ces gîtes.

Wij hebben erg genoten in dit huis dat we reserveerden voor ons jaarlijks Ardennen-weekend met onze vriendengroep. We boekten de 2 aanpalende huizen om over voldoende (bad-)kamers te beschikken maar konden wel samen eten en gezellig vertoeven in het grootste huis. We werden vriendelijk verwelkomd door de eigenaar die ons meteen alle nodige informatie gaf. De rust van de omgeving en de stilte in het huis werd gewaardeerd. Vanaf het verblijf konden we al mooie wandelingen maken, altijd praktisch.

Heel tevreden over verblijf en ligging alles was in orde , Uiterst fijne vriendelijke ontvangst en uitleg De units zijn ruim en ideaal voor een grote groep. Gezien de ligging aan een riviertje waren de muggen wel talrijk aanwezig 's avonds,buiten en binnen. Maar het is absoluut een aanrader .

Super dépaysement dans ce corps de ferme, les enfants ont adoré aller voir les vaches et jouer sur les balançoires. Le Ravel est à proximité et permet de visite la région…

Eigenaar Luc heeft ons goed onthaald, duidelijke info gegeven over de woning en bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Mooi onderhouden woning en alles is goed voorzien. We raden het zeker iedereen aan, ook aangenaam geluid van de rivier die naast de woning ligt. Zeer rustige ligging.

Zeer tevreden over dit huis en de omgeving. Het huis had alles wat we nodig hadden, voldoende kamers, badkamers. Keuken met meerdere frigo's. We zijn een groep oudere fietsers en hebben 2 dagen de streek verkend. Sommigen met de koersfiets, anderen in de bossen met de Mountainbike. Echt een mooie streek, wat anders dan de klassieke Ardennen.

Goed huis voor een familie met veel leden. Het huis is ruim en net. Het was erg koud en de verwarming werkte uitstekend. De keuken is ok maar het fornuis wat klein om te koken voor een groep van meer dan 10 personen. Alle nodige materieel in keuken aanwezig. De badkamers zijn eerder basic maar ok. De tuin en het terras zijn heel fjn,zou leuk zijn in de zomer.Tip: de douchekoppen ontkalken. Vriendelijke en discrete eigenaars die beschikbaar zijn.

Zeer mooi gelegen vakantiehuis, vriendelijke eigenaar. Veel parking met 2 oplaadpunten. Wel opletten met kinderen, achter de tuin ligt een beek die niet omheind is. 1 minpuntje, de keuken is wat klein qua ruimte voor 12 personen. Zeker aan te bevelen vakantiehuis.
