Wake up after a restful night, enjoy an extended breakfast, cosy aperitifs, read a book by a crackling fire, take a nice warm shower after a busy day, etc. Whatever you do and in whatever room you do it: this magnificent holiday home ensures a pretty view of the surrounding nature everywhere. Our personal favourite? The giant chess game in the garden. Beautiful to look at and fun to play. There is also the billiards, table football and ping pong to provide additional entertainment. Ideal for a rainy day or after a fun day outdoors. In addition, 8 cosy bedrooms with private bathrooms ensure everyone has their own space. Ideal for an occasional escape from the hustle and bustle of your family holiday.
This is the ideal base for a varied holiday close by. The small but cosy Dinant is just half an hour away. Next to the village of Falmignoul (Dinant) is the ravine of Colebi, a remarkable site on the right bank of the Meuse from where you can enjoy a nice walk. The village itself has an extra asset in store for you: the Caracole village brewery where you can taste their delicious (organic) beer. If you want a nice walk with the kids – including picnic – we recommend the “Ry de Rome” walk in Couvin. A favourite of Ardennes-étape parents. Fancy something with a little more action? One of our personal favourites close to this holiday rental is the Fondry des Chiens nature reserve in Viroinval. This is a spectacular place reminiscent of Provence.

fantastisch huis in een mooi kader
Heel mooi en ruim . Mooi verzorgde tuin en prima ontvangst. Eén verbeterpuntje : enkele kapstokjes in de badkamer
prachtig nieuw huis. Alles is mooi verzorgt en heel netjes.
Fantastisch huis. Alleen het krijtje voor de biljartkeus ontbrak, waardoor het biljart niet gebruikt kon worden. In de wijde omgeving was dat ook niet te krijgen. Juist vanwege het biljart viel onze keuze op dit huis. Erg jammer. Verder was niet duidelijk aangegeven dat ook droogdoeken door de huurder moeten worden meegebracht.
mooi en ruim vakantiehuis. Je moet je wel verplaatsen met de auto (minstens 10 tot 15 minuten) voor activiteiten (musea, speeltuin, bezoeken)
Wat een fantastisch huis, echt aan alles is gedacht. Gelukkig konden we ook gebruik maken van de geweldige tuin met bbq want we hadden heerlijk weer. We hebben allemaal genoten
Wij zijn als familie een week (25april tot 2mei 2025) verbleven in dit huisje. Wij zijn hier voor de tweede keer en hebben beide keren het appartement beneden erbij gehuurd omdat een gezin zich toevoegde aan onze groep. Wij vinden de kamers hotelwaardig met eigen toilet en badkamer. Wij hebben erg genoten van de mooie locatie en het uitzicht. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen. We hopen alleen dat de prijs dan niet gestegen is, want dit is echt een pareltje.

Super endroit pour passer un agréable WE entre amis ! Le gîte est très bien aménagé, les chambres sont spacieuces et confortables, le jardin est grand et le cadre magnifique. Nous étions 14 adultes et avons pleinement profité du gîte sans nous marcher dessus. Je le recommande vivement.

Très belle maison, confortable et bien chauffée
Maison sublime et séjour parfait ! Tout confort, très propre et des prestations haut de gamme. La maison est fidèle à l'annonce et aux photos. Concernant l'emplacement sur d'autres commentaires c'est un peu retiré mais c'est ce que nous venions chercher avec quelques belles balades à faire autour. Merci pour l'accueil également, nous recommandons !

Prachtig gelegen nieuw huis in mooie streek.
De vakantiewoning is gewoonweg prachtig met alle comfort, een grote tuin met overdekt terras, petanquebaan, schaakspel. Binnen zijn ook een aantal leuke spelmogelijkheden zoals tafeltennis, biljart, kicker. Het enige nadeel is misschien de ligging, je moet een eind rijden voor de bakker of een restaurant.
