The Palogne Domain, just outside the touristy Durbuy, is a leisure park with plenty of exciting activities. Options include mountain biking, kayaking, miniature golf, and even a birds of prey show. Be sure to take a walk towards the castle of Logne, a beautiful ruin from which you also have a great view of the surroundings.
Just outside Durbuy, you’ll also find a huge labyrinth, totalling 22 football pitches in size. Wander through overgrown walls, secret passageways, and dead-end alleys for hours. You must find your way to the exit using stories of compelling fairy-tale characters. Do you dare…? The Topiary Park is also highly recommended. Voldoende. Enkele zaken waren maar eenvoudig opgelost (zoals fragiele bedden, knopjes die maar half werken etc.) en er wordt erg ruim gerekend in de verbruikskosten, maar verder een prima vakantiebestemming om tot rust te komen. Izier ligt redelijk afgelegen, maar niet verwaarloosd en er zijn veel wandelpaden in de buurt. (Er begint een wandelroute op Komoot vanaf de voordeur) Aanrader is het steak automaat dat op nog geen 100m wandelen staat. Heerlijk als je 's avonds opeens zin krijgt :)

Weekend met vrienden. BBQ en vuurtje aangestoken. Zeer gezellige avond gehad met tussendoor wat ping pong wedstrijden. De buren zijn vriendelijk en doen niet moeilijk over wat geluid. Vlakbij het huisje is ook een soort vakantiepark waar je prachtige wandelingen kan maken.

Het was een ruim huisje met een mooie omgeving. Supermarkt binnen 10 minuten rijden net als een treinstation. genoeg slaapkamers en een fijne keuken!

Het is een ruim huisje vlakbij Durbuy. Je kan er ook heel mooi wandelen. Jammer dat de afwasmachine het niet deed en de bedden verouderd waren. De eigenaar kon ook niet langskomen om de kapotte zaken vast te stellen.

We hebben een heel goed weekend gehad alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig in het huis. We zijn ook goed ontvangen de vrouw was zeer vriendelijk en heeft ons goed rondgeleid in de woning, alles was top.

Huisje is verouderd, maar heeft ook om die reden karakter. Enige wat nog goed is om te weten qua info: is dat de eigenaar, de dag voor vertrek onaangekondigd het huisje binnen stapte om te vermelden dat ze er op de dag van vertrek aanwezig zou zijn. Verder zijn de bedden opgemaakt, echter mag je hier geen gebruik van maken en bleek het normaal te zijn het bed af te halen om vervolgens je eigen bedlinnen eromheen te doen. Gas, water en licht prijzen zijn stuk duurder dan in NL

We hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad. Was een mooi plekje met mooi uitzicht. De woning was wat verouderd maar dat moet er zeker niet aan onderdoen van hoeveel er genoten hebben.

Le gîte était conforme aux attentes. Excellent contact avec les propriétaires. Seuls points négatifs : la douche au -1 en piteux état, et la grille de barbecue très sale (ce qui est certainement aussi en partie la faute de précédents locataires)

Typisch ouder Ardens huisje. Opvallend goed gepoetst. Het is netjes onderhouden. Het uitzicht is prachtig met velden met schaapjes. Er is een leuk weggetje dat je direct in het bos brengt . De pingpong en de trampoline vonden de kinderen heel fijn. Verbeterpuntje: net herstellen van de trampoline ( veiligheid) / veiligheidshekken voor raamdeur in de slaapkamer plaatsen. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen. Prijs is laag.

Als je niet veel eisen stelt en iets zoekt voor een grote groep en het niet erg vindt als je moet rijden voor boodschappen en uitjes is het een prima optie.
