This charming holiday home is located in the village of Morville, near Barvaux and Durbuy, in the Belgian Ardennes.

In summer, we recommend a visit to the Labyrinth of Durbuy, built in a field of maize. It has a theme, it is renewed every year and you will meet strange characters that will tell you their story throughout the course.

The more sporty ones will enjoy an adventure in the woods, a mountain bike tour or a kayak descent; so do not hesitate to contact La Petite Merveille, Domaine de Palogne or RHM BuitenSport for a tailored program.

To end a day full of excitement, do not hesitate to visit Durbuy and try its many restaurants.

Please note:  this typical building of the Ardennes has particularly low ceilings, so people who are tall should be attentive.

Het huis ligt ideaal gelegen als uitgangspunt voor boswandelingen. Jammer van de lage deuropeningen die voor mensen groter dan 1m65 een probleem vormen. De zitruimte mag wat groter als iedereen samen wil zitten. 3 kamers waren van goede kwaliteit, de andere bedden voelden heel hard aan. Ondanks de problemen met verwarming en warm water, werd dit wel opgelost op dag 3. Aan de druk van het water moet wel iets gedaan worden. Vriendelijke eigenaar die voor een compensatie zorgde. Grote keuken.

Rustig gelegen woning, aan de rand van een dorpje naast een rustige weg met weinig verkeer. Er is voldoende te zien in de omgeving. De tuin is prima voor kleine kinderen, er is een speeltuigje, een trampoline (zonder bescherming, zoals wel op de site was vermeld), tuintafel en stoelen. Groot overdekt terras. Deuropeningen zijn zeer laag, dus na 2 dagen rugpijn van het krom lopen. Slechte ontvangst.

Het huis beschikt over een prachtige ligging en is een fijne uitvalshoek om de omgeving te verkennen. Het huis zelf waren we minder van onder de indruk. Er was onvoldoende waterdruk in de keuken op koud water en de vaatwasser reinigde (hierdoor) ook de vaat onvoldoende. Na melding werd hier niets mee gedaan. Voor 17 personen afwassen met de hand neemt aardig wat tijd in beslag van de vakantie. Verre van ideaal. Matrassen kunnen ook een vernieuwing gebruiken.

Nous avons passé un très chouette séjour entre filles dans ce gîte ! Il est bien aménagé, confortable et idéalement situé : à proximité de Durbuy Aventure, d'un magasin et d'une boulangerie, dans un village vraiment charmant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'environnement et la praticité du lieu. Seul petit bémol : le gîte ne correspondait pas à 100 % aux photos publiées, ce qui a été une légère déception. Cela dit, cela n'a pas gâché notre séjour !
