This 3-star holiday home has been tastefully decorated with a modern touch to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The living room has a spacious seating area with a wood-burning stove and sofas, a large dining table with more than enough room for eight guests, and a modern, open-plan kitchen with all the modern conveniences.
The same design style has been carried through to the upper floor, where you’ll find four bedrooms and two tidy bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a lovely bathtub, so you can relax here after a long, active day outdoors. The separate wellness area with an infrared sauna and shower certainly contribute to this as well. A small garden?–?with a patio, BBQ grill, and garden furniture?–?surrounds the holiday home. There is also a pétanque court and ample private parking with three parking spaces.
This holiday home is located in tranquil surroundings. The nearest shops, restaurants, and market can be found about 1 km away in the village of Barvaux, an important commercial centre. The well-known town of Durbuy is about a five-minute drive away and its medieval streets, cosy shops, and many sidewalk cafés offer everything you need for a relaxing day out. There are also many tourist, athletic, and cultural activities to do in the vicinity of Durbuy. For example, you can wander around the Durbuy Labyrinth. You must find your way to the exit using stories of compelling fairy-tale characters. That’s not easy with all those overgrown walls, high hedges, and narrow passageways. A real challenge for young and old!

Groot huis met veel licht, maar zeer basic ingericht (keuken, salon, kamers), waardoor een gezellige uitstraling ontbreekt. Jammer ook dat er geen reserve is van bv. matrasbeschermer (deze ontbrak op het 2-persoonsbed omdat het diende gewassen te worden).

Heel praktisch huis, alles is aanwezig. Trap buiten om het huis te betreden kan beter gemaakt worden, beetje gevaarlijk als je met de valiezen moet sleuren. Heel prettig verblijf gehad, kan het huis aan iedereen aanraden.

Het is een zeer ruim vakantiehuis! Schoonmaak en onderhoud kan beter. Voor een accomodatie waar een hond mee mag had ik buiten wat meer gras verwacht en omheining is niet helemaal (in orde) rondom de tuin.

Mooi huis, alles voorhanden, kleine tuin zonder "recht" stuk om bv wat te voetballen, kubb te spelen enz. Geen airco en dus jammer dat er geen vliegenramen zijn om ramen open te zetten zonder dat vliegen/muggen binnen zitten

Vakantiehuis was top, goede communicatie met de verhuurders. Trapje naar de woning is idd niet goed geschikt voor mensen die niet goed te been zijn. Huisje is rustig gelegen.

Mooi en ruim huis in een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Het ophalen en terugbrengen van de sleutel ging makkelijk. Gelukkig hebben we tijdens ons verblijf geen beroep hoeven doen op de beheerder. Het huis is gelegen in Barvaux en een auto is onmisbaar, maar door de centrale ligging waren diverse plaatsen vrij gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Wandelen in de omgeving was niet heel aanlokkelijk. De Wifi werkte uitstekend en verder was er niets op aan te merken. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke week doorgebracht.

Sleutels opgehaald bij Happy Ardennes. Heel vriendelijk. Heel fijn huisje voor 2 bevriende gezinnen. Beetje gevaarlijk trapje om naar voordeur te gaan. Goede ligging om naar activiteiten/wandelingen/winkels/... te gaan. Alles was aanwezig. Fijne weekend gehad.
