You’ll be staying in the Semois Valley: the ideal base for a diverse (family) holiday close by! Go for a swim in the heart of nature along the ‘plage de Nawès’ or the lovely ‘petite plage de l’Antrogne’ in Herbeumont itself, discover some of the most beautiful panoramas of the Ardennes, such as Le Tombeau du Géant or the Rocher du Chat. Zeer mooi en goed onderhouden. Gezellig en ieder muurtje heeft een terras. Het overdekt terras is super geze?lig. De kamer boven was wat warm om te slapen. Heel goed gelegen en vlot contact met eigenaar. Er is een buurtwinkel op wandelafstand waar je brood kan kopen

De grote troef van deze vakantie is het overdekte terras die aansluit aan de living. Echter met jonge kinderen zou ik deze woning niet aanraden. Bovenste kamer heeft een open trapgat. De trap naar boven staat in de keuken en de deur van living naar gang ( waar de trap is om naar de badkamer, WC en andere slaapkamers te gaan) kan zomaar open (geen klink of slot).

Goed verzorgd huis, ruim en schoon, prettige keuken en woonkamer. De benedenverdieping (met twee van de drie slaapkamers) is wat vochtig, zeker na een flinke regenbui. Wij misten uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer: je kijkt uit op de hoge omheining van het balkon. Daar zit je wel fijn droog (zonder uitzicht), verder zijn er genoeg andere plekken om buiten te zitten. Huis ligt aan de rand van een dorp. Direct vanuit huis kun je mooi wandelen en op 10 min. met de auto lopen Grande Routes.

Het is een heel mooi vakantiehuis voor rustzoekers en wandelaars, misschien minder geschikt voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen, vanwege trappen en niveauverschil. Het huisje mist wel een beetje aankleding en gezelligheid. De uitrusting in de keuken is goed, maar beperkt. Geen eierdopjes of extra schaaltjes,enz… Ik vond de aangerekende prijs voor energie/water en vuilnis wel wat overdreven.
