Thanks to the natural surroundings, the charm of this former school is still intact and you will not get tired of admiring it during your stay. Inside, you will find a great and very well-thought-out layout that favours the beautiful decoration. Ideal to accommodate up to five people, the house features two nice bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. The beautiful living room, featuring a stone fireplace, comfortable armchairs and exposed beams, is ideal to spend pleasant moments with your family, while the dining area is perfect to enjoy your meals in an inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped and very functional, which is great for showcasing your culinary skills. Finally, outside you can enjoy a private garden and a beautiful terrace equipped with a barbecue over a wood fire.
In Froidchapelle, you will find plenty of the wonders. Here nature offers some remarkable landscapes and fabulous sites, such as the famous Eau d'Heure Lakes, where you can enjoy many activities in an exceptional setting. In particular, you will have fun tree climbing at Park Natura, or at the Aquacentre water park. In the well-being department, we also recommend a visit to the superb A l'Heure du Bien-Etre wellness centre, where you can enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation in their swimming pools, saunas and jacuzzis. Leuk huisje, zeer rustig gelegen en voorzien van alle benodigdheden (geen Wifi, maar ik mis dat ook niet). Door de ligging is het iets beter voor een fietsvakantie dan een wandelvakantie, want je bent niet snel af van het asfalt.

Keuken was niet proper (vettig) Bad was ook niet proper, zelf uitgekuist als we aangekomen zijn. Ramen waren vettig. Krakende bedden, weinig slaap. Elektriciteit valt uit tijdens het koken. Trapleuning niet stevig en niet veilig.

Genoten van de rust. Mooi gelegen huisje op een rustige plek in een bosje met alles op auto-afstand. Leuk dat het ooit een schooltje was, goed gerenoveerd. Proper bij aankomst. Lieve gastvrouw. Al het nodige is aanwezig. Van krakende bedden hebben wij niks gemerkt. Goed geslapen. Meubels zijn misschien basic, maar "If the simple things in life don't make you smile then you'll never be happy". Wij hadden een zalige tijd met ons gezinnetje: samen koken, spelletjes spelen, ... Wij komen terug.

Gezellige en slimme indeling van het huisje, maar de netheid en de technische mankementen (haard en tv werken niet, stopcontacten die niet werkten, vochtplekken, zilvervisjes) maken dat ik dit huisje niet meteen aanduid. Wel gezellig dat ze eraan gedacht hebben om de kerstboom op te zetten. Dit is een huisje voor de zomer misschien waarbij je veel buiten kan zijn?

De eigenaar heeft geen zilvervisjes gevonden, maar naar aanleiding van deze opmerking heeft hij een passende behandeling uitgevoerd om dit te voorkomen. Hij heeft ook de televisie en de open haard gecontroleerd, die normaal werken.
