Very comfortable holiday home in Gedinne, in the province of Namur, located on a former farm. This 3-star holiday home has everything and more to make your stay a wonderful and relaxing one. The main room comprises a comfortable lounge area with a spacious sofa, a cable TV with a DVD player, and a wireless internet connection. There is a large dining table in the centre of the room that can seat eight guests. Next, there is the modern, fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, and all the necessary appliances (coffee maker, toaster, blender, deep fryer, and gourmet grill set).
The holiday home has two bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub, and three bedrooms, one of which has two bunk beds, which always delight kids! The sunny patio provides a beautiful view of the surrounding area. You can prepare a meal there on the BBQ grill while the children entertain themselves in the garden with the dog. Lastly, there is a large covered parking area with space for up to four cars.
Gedinne is in the province of Namur, in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. There are over 400 km of signposted hiking paths in the region, which is perfect for keen hikers and nature enthusiasts. The Croix Scaille uplands?–?one of the highest points in the country?–?are a wonderful spot for hiking. Gedinne is in the midst of nature, but Bouillon and Han-sur-Lesse, a town and village that are well worth a stop, are just 30 minutes away. Visit the fortified castle, explore the Caves of Han, or admire the wild animals in the wildlife park!
The Croix-Scaille cross-country skiing trails are perfect for those who love powdery snow. Choose one of the four routes (four, seven, nine, or twelve kilometres) and spend a wonderful afternoon with your family in the snow! You can also visit the Récréalle recreation centre where kayaking, miniature golf, climbing, mountain biking, and more await you. Skate on the ice rink there in the winter, and relax on the beach in the summer. Lavaux-Sainte-Anne Castle and the Rochehaut lookout over Frahan and the Semois River are also unmissable. There is no way you’ll be bored even for a second in the Ardennes!

Een zeer rustige omgeving en ruime woning en netjes gepoest. Enkel heel jammer van de gebreken die beter moeten worden nagekeken ... (barbecue, keukenbenodigdheden vuil en dringend nood aan vernieuwing, douche die lekt). De hoofdkussens in de ene kamer zijn ook dringend aan vernieuwing toe.

Hartelijk dank voor uw verblijf en voor het delen van uw feedback. We zijn blij te lezen dat u genoten heeft van de rust en de ruimte van het huis, en dat u het proper vond. We begrijpen dat sommige elementen voor verbetering vatbaar waren. De eigenaar heeft intussen uw opmerkingen ter harte genomen en heeft reeds de nodige aanpassingen gedaan om het comfort en de kwaliteit van het verblijf te verhogen (douch is nagekeken en opgelost). Voor wie op zoek is naar een ruime, rustig gelegen vakantiewoning vlak bij mooie wandelroutes, is dit verblijf zeker een aanrader.

Heel ruim ,gezellig huis. Eigenaar gemakkelijk bereikbaar bij vragen. Ligging is aangenaam wat betreft winkels. Mooie wandelingen in de buurt en kleine speeltuintjes......

Zeer mooi en ruime gîte, heel net en verzorgd, enkel de sofa is aan vervanging toe. In de keuken is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt enkel de friteuse was juist stuk. Heel fijne open haard, goede verstandhouding met de eigenaars. Enkel de WiFi is van slechte kwaliteit.

Le gîte est très bien situé pour de belles visites aux alentours. Le confort du gîte pour nous 5 était top ! Nous n’avons pas pu profiter beaucoup de la terrasse mais la vue y est magnifique! Et l’accueil du propriétaire qui nous a donné de bons conseils gastronomiques et touristiques était très chaleureux ! Le seul petit bémol est la fraicheur du canapé qui laisse un peu à désirer… Séjour au top !

Wat een prachtig ruim huis, we hebben nog nooit zo'n mooie locatie gehad. Erg vriendelijke gastheer, die we enkele keren moesten lastigvallen omdat we de tv niet aan de praat kregen. Een aanrader!

Super séjour et très bon accueil du propriétaire. La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Des balades magnifiques sont à proximité immédiate du gîte.

Minpunten zijn echt de bank en de bedden. Bank zit vol met smerige vlekken en zitkuilen. Matrassen zijn enorm dun en hard. Locatie is perfect. De bakker en de supermarkt zijn echt op kruipafstand. Keuken is zeer compleet. Fijn dat er 2 badkamers zijn en het voelt allemaal enorm ruim. Werden netjes ontvangen.
