This charming holiday home is set in the outbuilding of a farm château in Hamois, in the province of Namur, and was fully renovated in 2009.
As soon as you enter this holiday home, you’ll feel right at home. A welcoming ambience prevails in this accommodation. Enjoy a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen, which has a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, soup mixer… virtually everything! After a nice meal, enjoy a glass of wine in the living room. You can enjoy the pleasing combination of being near the wood-burning stove and watching a movie on the TV using the DVD player.
Enjoy the pleasure of being together in the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Why not enjoy a nice warm shower together too?
A baby bed and a high chair are available. If you ask the owner before your stay, he will provide these for you.
There are various outdoor and children’s games in the communal garden. Leave younger children to entertain themselves on the swing or slide while the adults organise a pétanque game. What if you need to exact your revenge afterwards? Organise a football match together and score the winning goal. After all this exertion, enjoy a meal prepared on the BBQ grill and a cool drink on the patio.
As you know, this holiday home is located in Hamois, in the province of Namur. You can explore Skreuve Château, just a stone’s throw from your holiday home, better known as the ‘Château de Champignac’ in the adventures of Spirou and Fantasio.
Hamois is only 25 minutes from the capital of Wallonia: Namur. But you should also visit Dinant, which is just as worthwhile. There, in the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, you’ll see the wonderful Dinant Citadel, which overlooks the city. You can reach it by cable car or by climbing the 408 steps. You’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Dinant and its surrounding area from the top. You can also learn more about Belgian and European history.
Visit Brasserie du Bocq in Purnode, 20 minutes from the holiday home. It is one of the few in Belgium that still brews its beer using a traditional technique. A guided tour lasts approximately 50 minutes but is not accessible to wheelchair users.
You’ll have the opportunity to set off on a group walk near the holiday home. Relax and enjoy the delicious tranquillity of the Ardennes.

Het was een fantastisch heerlijke plek om te verblijven! Enkel de vloer in de slaapkamer kraakt behoorlijk als je er op loopt. Verder niets op aan te merken.

Le propriétaire a rafraîchi tout l'intérieur, peintures, mobilier, décoration, salle de bain, chambre. Venez profiter de cet endroit paisible le temps d'une pause! Beste vakantiegangers, met het oog op comfort is de capaciteit van het vakantiehuisje teruggebracht tot 3 personen. De eigenaar heeft het hele interieur opgeknapt, inclusief schilderwerk, meubilair, decoratie, badkamer en slaapkamer. Kom genieten van deze rustige plek tijdens een vakantie!

Mooi huisje in een mooie omgeving. Ontvangst was vriendelijk/hartelijk. Het enige puntje van kritiek is de trap naar de bovenste verdieping, gezien constructie(trap leuning houdt op en dan volgt er nog een trede in afwijkende materiaal soort (hout naar steen) wat in het donker niet goed zichtbaar is. Hebben dat ook netjes in gesprek met eigenaar aangegeven. Wil t u ons verder bij eigenaar (s) excuseren hebben een klein glazen potje met suiker per ongeluk meegenomen. Gr Jean Conen
