The spacious holiday home, which can accommodate up to eight guests, has been tastefully furnished to immerse travellers in the spirit and culture of the Ardennes. With its typically, large Belgian façade, this wonderful house built in 1919 was renovated recently to transform it into a wellness cocoon. Located in Herve, in the heart of the province of Liège, it is in an idyllic geographical location for setting off to explore a verdant and peaceful region. The house, which has two levels, has a tastefully decorated hall, followed by a living room with a TV, a dining room for convivial meals, and a kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. Upstairs, three bedrooms with single beds and private bathrooms enable you to have privacy throughout your stay. Although it’s in the centre of the village of Herve, the house has considerable outdoor space with an enclosed 60 m² garden, which is an ideal and safe place for children to play. You can have a delicious barbecued meal outside on the patio thanks to the grill that’s been provided. Lastly, a good-sized private car park has space for up to two vehicles for a holiday with peace of mind.
Not far from your rental house, the city of Soumagne is truly emblematic of the province of Liege. Just 7 km away, you can visit the municipality of Olne, which is very popular with travellers who want to discover the most beautiful gems of the Belgian Ardennes. We hebben genoten van ons weekend. Super mooi huis, helemaal in orde en voorzien van schitterende badkamers en slaapkamers. Wat we niet wisten is dat er aangrenzend een tweede verblijf was. Wel heel leuk dat de een privétuin hadden. Eigenaars waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Een geweldig huis. Heel schoon en heel netjes. Elke kamer heeft een badkamer. De ligging is redelijk vrij. De tuin bij ons huisje is klein maar voldoet zeker. Bij aankomst kregen we eigengemaakte appelsap. Het is een mooie uitvalsbasis om naar Luik te gaan met de fiets via het Ravel fietspad. Echt een aanrader!

Super huis van alle gemakken voorzien, luxe tot in de puntjes. Ruim genoeg voor ons gezin met 2 tiener meiden die ieder hun eigen slaapkamer èn badkamer hadden. Wat een luxe!

Heel mooi vakantiehuis, alles aanwezig en netjes schoon. Vriendelijke eigenaren, die goede informatie gaven en als er iets was of we wilden iets weten, reageerden ze zeer snel. Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Een fijn, schoon en ruim vakantiehuis. Zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren. Na een korte uitleg was alles duidelijk. Het huis was schoon, rook lekker en alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Enige minpunt wat ik kan bedenken is dat wij de bedden heel hard vonden, maar dat is natuurlijk per persoon verschillend.

Minpunten Zeer agressieve ontvangst door mevrouw. Huis niet geschikt voor kleine kinderen. Leefruimte beneden veel te klein voor 8 personen. Slechte kookgerei. Verbod om schoon te maken. Parking, krap met grote auto. Omgeving niet fijn. Pluspunten zeer proper. Alles tiptop in orde op de boven verdieping. Goede kwaliteit oven, wasmachine, droger. Proper huis. Meneer was heel vriendelijk bij het uitchecken. Ik zou het niet aanraden.

Bedankt voor uw mening. Wij betreuren dat sommige elementen niet aan uw verwachtingen voldeden. De eigenaars hebben de kookgerei nagekeken en alles lijkt wel in orde. Het is niet verboden om schoon te maken, alleen maar de eigenares wenst dat er geen corosieve producten (dettol) door de huurders wordt gebruikt. Wat betreft de parkeerplaatsen, zijn er 2 voor de gîte gereserveerd. En soms meer, als de andere gites ernaast niet bezet zijn. Nog bedankt voor uw feedback.
