Stunning holiday home built in 2006, full of features for large groups of up to 24 guests. It’ll be perfect for unwinding in the Belgian Ardennes. In addition, this holiday home in Hockai is accessible to people with reduced mobility, but only on the ground floor.
You’ll feel right at home here. Enjoy an apéritif in the living room, which has a cassette-style hearth that can be used for indoor barbecuing. A flat-screen TV with a home cinema and hi-fi system are also available.
This holiday home has eight bedrooms, each big enough for three guests, with eight private bathrooms. You’ll get a good night’s rest in the simplicity of the peaceful bedrooms. There is an ensuite bedroom for two guests on the ground floor; it is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The large kitchen is well equipped: gas hobs, oven, microwave, American-style fridge, freezer, professional dishwasher, percolator and Senseo coffee machine, soup blender, and toaster. A laundry room is also available, which contains a washing machine, a dryer, and an iron.
The dining room is spacious, with room for everyone around the same table. You can make the most of the large patio when the weather’s good.
Also enjoy the heated indoor pool and the wellness space with a sauna and hammam! Spend quality time in the sun and the spacious garden spanning 10,000 m². A swing, a slide, and a sandbox have been provided with your children in mind.
In the winter, set off for cross-country skiing on the 4 km, 8 km, and 12 km signposted ski trails in the area that start right from the property. There are lots of options for walks (Promenade de la Hoêgne trail) or mountain biking.
Hockai is in the municipality of Stavelot in the province of Liège. If you rent a holiday home in the region, you’ll be able to enjoy many outlooks over the Ardennes. In the winter, it’s the perfect region for skiing with family (cross-country and downhill skiing).
Spend a half-day at Warfaaz Lake, a stunning location where you can make the most of the water and the shore with a range of activities: fishing, mountain biking, hiking, pedalo rides, etc. You can rent pedalos at Le Petit Baigneur.
Spa also has many relaxing tourist activities on offer. These include the Spa Thermal Baths, the Spa-Francorchamps Racetrack Museum, beautiful walks, and more. After having strolled through the city of Spa, known as the Town of Water, enjoy one of the 50 types of rum at the Havana Café.
The Signal de Botrange, at 694 m above sea level, and Stavelot Abbey are also both worth mentioning.

Perfect voor een grote groep, speciaal met kleine kinderen omdat het zwembad direct naast het leefgedeelte ligt en daardoor betrokkenheid is op zowel de ouders met kinderen in het zwembad als ook de andere groepsleden in de living. Fantastische bedden.

Mooie ligging met prachtige tuin aan de zuidkant met mooi terras. Grote living, in combinatie met pooltafel en zicht op zwembad is een meerwaarde. Kamers meer dan in orde. Investeringen in keukenmateriaal dringen zich op. Ontvangst en begeleiding ter plaatse is top ! Prachtige uitvalsbasis voor fietsavonturen

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad. Kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad, sauna was fijn. De tuin ligt alleen op een kleine helling, dus een voetbal potje zat er niet in voor de kinderen. Iedereen heeft zich prima vermaakt met de pooltafel. We misten alleen voor de ouderen kinderen een ruimte aansluitend aan de woonkamer die afgesloten kon worden.

Mooi vakantiehuis. Aardige beheerder/eigenaar. Het zwembad en sauna zijn lekker en het huis is goed onderhouden. Het enige minpunt waren de kleine smalle bedden. Zeker voor Nederlanders was dit aan de kleine kant. Verder een prima verblijf gehad en de beheerder was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijke met alles. Kortom, een fijn verblijf gehad in dit huis.
