Snuggle up in the cosy living space next to the crackling fire for a fun games night, or dive into the beautiful open kitchen to taste the local specialities with your family and/or friends (tip: the Achouffe brewery is not far.). Our favourite? The cosy terrace with atmospheric lights and panoramic view of the valley of the Ourthe and Houffalise village. The very large private garden will charm the whole family. And there’s plenty for your four-legged friends to snuffle around in.

You will be staying within walking distance of the forest and the Ourthe. This beautiful region is the ideal base for an active holiday. Our recommendations for a rugged walk that lets you discover the wildest, most remote pieces of nature? The loop walk in «the Valley of the Ourthe», which is part of the GR57, or the climb to the Rocher du Hérou, one for the daring. Are you a cycling fan? You will be staying on the Cote Saint-Rocho, a mythical ascent from Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Those who feel like it, therefore, only have to leave the front door to try the “Doyenne” of the classics. And what's more, Baraque Fraiture, one of the highest peaks of the Ardennes, is only 15 km from the chalet.
