The owner of this beautiful house, originally from Flanders, fell in love with the region of La Roche-en-Ardenne and its old stones. He immediately saw in this building, the possibility of creating a large capacity cottage with comfort and upscale amenities. The renovation project lasted almost two years. The owner wanted to work with a local architect and tradespeople in the area, and he invested a lot of his time, energy and soul in this project. The result is amazing!
Thanks to the raw and natural materials used, this spacious, bright and warm house offers a unique atmosphere. The wooden beams of the old farmhouse have been preserved. In the living area, as well as in some bedrooms, you will notice that the exposed stone walls have also been preserved and restored. This mixture of stone and wood, as well as the whitewashed walls in natural tones, create a perfect harmony. The owner's wife also put in some of her personal touches, adding a bit of colour here and there: red for the dining-room chairs, a yellow mustard door in the child's bedroom...
In terms of amenities, this rental features five bedrooms and five bathrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen for groups, an inviting dining room and two lounge areas: a TV corner and a sitting area near the wood-burning stove. Your children can have fun playing in the games room (equipped with a ping-pong table and darts), while others relax in the wellness area with its infrared cabin.
Another highlight of this brand new cottage is its exceptional location. Set in a small peaceful hamlet in the Ardennes, surrounded by greenery, woods and forests. Heel ruim, mooi huis. Houtkachel is gezellig en grote keuken. Optie om te huren met linnen zou fijn zijn. Alleen peper en zout ontbrak, verder veel voorzieningen (spelletjes, pingpong, keukengerei)

fantastisch huis om met het ganse gezin de ardennen te boeken. Het huis mag je zonder aarzelen boeken als zijnde een fantastische ervaring.
Een prachtig, ruim, schoon vakantiehuis. De kinderen genoten van de ruimte en konden ook heerlijk buiten spelen in de grote tuin. 's Avonds de buitenkachel aan was ook gezellig.
Heel mooi ruim vakantiehuis , goede bedden met aangrenzende badkamers en grote goed uitgeruste keuken.Enig nadeel is de steile trap naar kelder en toegang tuin achteraan en barbecue

We hebben enorm genoten van ons familieweekend in dit zeer ruime, nette vakantiehuis met prachtige tuin (vooral de grote eik) en mooi uitzicht!
Heel fijn huis en prachtige ligging. Ook heel mooie tuin, alleen jammer dat je telkens via de kelder ernaar toe moet. Voldoende groot en aangename ruimtes. Een echte aanrader.

Prachtig huis met veel mogelijkheden op een prachtige rustige locatie.
Niets aan te merken op het huis. Prachtig en ruim. Wel wat kneuterig, dat er maar drie houtblokjes waren om een vuurtje te maken. Dat stemde niet overeen met de foto's in de boeking. Dat de schoonmaakploeg al anderhalf uur, voordat we uitcheckten, voor de deur stond te wachten, was niet erg aangenaam.
Maison de vacances très confortable , tout est impeccable, la propreté, la grandeur des pièces, les salles de bain privatives pour les chambres, literie de grande qualité. Je recommande vivement !

Fijne kerstvakantie gehad met kinderen en kleinkinderen. Compleet ingericht huis en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tip voor de eigenaar; dimmer op de spots beneden verdieping voor meer sfeerverlichting. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

Super genoten! Een vakantiehuis dat dik in orde is. Veel licht, heel ordelijk, alles is aanwezig, vlotte communicatie met de eigenaar, prachtige omgeving, mooi uitzicht vanuit het vakantiehuis, zeer ruime woonst, enorm rustig in de straat, mooie en grote tuin,…
Mooi huis met grote tuin, prachtige ligging. De trappen in salon-eetplaats en vooral naar de kelder zijn onveilig, zeker met kleine kinderen. Deze naar de kelder hebben wij afgebakend met de valiezen. Anders een paar kleine mankementen, zoals een niet werkend nachtlampje en een beschadigd vlieg- raam in de keuken, maar verder was alles prima. Voor herhaling vatbaar. de keuken.
Een fantastische vakantiewoning. Voorzien van alle faciliteiten, ontzettend ruim met een prachtige ligging.

Het vakantiehuis is geweldig. Alles ruimvoldoende aanwezig qua servies pannen bestek etc We waren een week met de kinderen en kleinkinderen in dit huis. Iedereen heeft genoten en iedereen had voldoende ruimte en plek. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
We hebben met kinderen en kleinkinderen een weekend doorgebracht in dit fantastisch vakantiehuis. Het is precies zoals op de foto’s ingericht, uitzicht is prachtig en heerlijk rustig gelegen.. De kelder met tafeltennis is goed gebruikt door de kleinkinderen en s’avonds was het heel gezellig om te barbecuen in het overdekte deel aan de schuur. Er zijn genoeg uitstapjes in de buurt, Kayakken in La Roche, grot in Hotton , wandelen en lekker luieren en genieten van de stilte. Heerlijk weekend gehad
Zeer ruim en mooi huis. Praktisch met de verschillende slaapkamers en badkamers.
Het was een prachtig huis. Alles was aanwezig. Veel ruimte, zeker voor de kleinkinderen. Ook in de keuken was er ruim kookgerei aanwezig. Het is de eerste maal dat we in een huis een volledig kast hadden in de keuken om de boodschappen in weg te bergen. Dat was zeker een pluspunt. Het uitzicht was prachtig en de wandelingen waren dichtbij. De eigenaar hebben we niet gezien maar telefonisch heeft hij alles duidelijk uitgelegd. Hij was heel vriendelijk. We hadden een aangename vakantie.m
Perfect verblijf gehad met een groep vrienden. In de keuken is wel behoefte aan een stel scherpe messen, de aangeboden messen zijn extreem bot en de punten zijn afgebroken. Verder goed uitgerust, voldoende servies e.d., schoon en netjes.

Wij hebben genoten van een heel leuke midweek. Het huis is voldoende groot, zeer goed uitgerust, prima bedden en mooie badkamers. De woning is van alle comformt voorzien en de terrassen maken het compleet.
