Take a walk together to the local bakery… or score extra points and surprise your other half with breakfast in bed and something delicious and warm from the bakery. After an adventurous walk, enjoy the last rays of the sun on the spacious, south-facing terrace. A steaming cup of hot chocolate when it gets a little cooler is also delicious here.
You will be staying in the heart of Lierneux. Our recommendations. A visit to the Lienne brewery, in Lierneux. And close by is one of our absolute favourite places in the Ardennes: the Plateau des Tailles near Baraque Fraiture. This protected natural park treats you to stunning landscapes and untouched nature, far away from everything. One of the most rugged places in Belgium, and without a doubt one of the best places for exploration as a couple. Did you bring a mountain bike? Then be sure to check this mountain bike route through forests and meadows on the heights around Vielsalm.

Various (catering) establishments can be reached on foot. Practical. And ideal for enjoying a carefree dinner at a restaurant.

Maison accueillante, spacieuse et propre, très bien aménagée. Elle offre de nombreux services : lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, machine à café, bouilloire, grille-pain, quelques poêles, différents verres et assiettes, ainsi que des bougies et une petite couverture. Wi-Fi et Netflix à disposition. Le propriétaire est toujours disponible pour toute question. Très bien située, proche d’un supermarché et d’une petite boulangerie.
De ontvangst was hartelijk in dit mooi en goed onderhouden vakantiehuis. De ruime leefkamer met keuken is vol licht en smaakvol gedecoreerd. De slaapkamer en badkamer zijn ook zeer netjes. Het terras is zeer aangenaam en nodigt uit tot lezen in het herfstzonnetje. Wie wil wandelen kan gewoon vanuit het huis vertrekken, want Lierneux heeft heel wat mooie trajecten aan te bieden. Kortom, een aanrader!
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Tout est parfait : aménagement ,décoration, équipement ... Accueil sympathique par la propriétaire très disponible. Je recommande ce gîte sans hésitation

Maison très spacieuse et moderne ! Aménagement récent et complet toutefois, des couverts supplémentaires seraient les bienvenus. A noter qu' une double marche sépare la cuisine du salon. A ma question de pouvoir disposer ( moyennant paiement ) d'un drap de lit et d'une housse de couette, la réponse a été positive, moyennant 50 euros.

Magnifique séjour dans un charmant petit village. De belles randonnées à faire et une très belle situation pour rayonner dans la région. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Geweldig! Super netjes, goed onderhouden, zag er goed uit. We hebben er een fijne tijd gehad.
Gîte bien situé au centre de Lierneux, à proximité des commerces de proximité et d'un super marché. Le gîte est en parfait état et offre un confort parfait.

mooie, degelijke inrichting. Jammer van de trapjes in living en gang; bij donkerte niet erg praktisch. Toevallig functioneerde wifi niet. De wijde omgeving is zeer mooi, alleen jammer dat rondom het huis geen natuur te bekennen is.
Zeer nette en goed gelegen woning, prima uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en uitstappen.
