It was originally the home of the village school teacher and then became the village café for many years. Today, you can make your own unforgettable memories here! Whether it’s in the living room with open hearth, on the patio with its wood-fired BBQ grill, or in the enclosed garden with play area. You will also enjoy beautiful views of the garden, the rocks and the forest. In short, it’s a genuine slice of paradise!
You can go fishing just a stone's throw from the house. The house has a secure bike shed so you can store your bikes with peace of mind. You’ll be staying in the heart of the Sambre-et-Meuse National Park. The perfect place to enjoy the breathtaking countryside. You will find many sources of inspiration for unforgettable cycling and walking routes. The famous L'Eau d’Heure Lakes and their numerous water sports are also nearby. You can even have fun in a real adventure park. And you can learn all about the fascinating wildlife that lives in, on and around the water at the nearby Aquascope educational aquatic centre. A real must!

Wij hebben een heel fijne tijd gehad tijdens ons verblijf. Het is een erg tof en kindvriendelijk huis. De apparaten werken naar behoren, het is rustig gelegen en in een fijne buurt. Wij zouden dit zeker aanraden! Het enige negatieve puntje zijn de bedden. 2 van de 3 bedden lagen slecht en leken erg oud te zijn.

Mooi huis op een prachtige plek. De inventaris is wat gedateerd en hier en daar wel aan een opknapbeurt toe. Niet de fijnste bedden en de bank in de woonkamer zat ook niet bepaald lekker. Ook misten we wel wat (voor ons) essentiële dingen in de keuken. Niettemin hebben we, ondanks de regen, een fijne week gehad in dit ruime huis. Zeker voor deze prijs een prima huis! Verder ook een vriendelijke ontvangst gekregen. En de omgeving is echt prachtig, met verschillende mooie wandelroutes vanaf huis!

Nice big house with a fireplace, parking enough for 4 cars, they have so much toys for the kids and adult as well, big kitchen. Only thing I could say, if i could be picky, is the bed was really hard and not comfortable to sleep on.

Heel goed gelegen voor de wandelingen. Ook een leuk restaurant rechtover het huis. Brengt wat drukte mee, maar toch niet echt last van gehad! Lekker gegeten en heel gezellig. Douche beneden werkte niet goed, misschien best melden aan eigenaar! Senseo is er ook niet, eigenaar had het aan jullie al gemeld.

It was a great place for friends with young kids. Amazing location with beautiful walks in the area. A good restaurant across the street and easy access to a town, only 12 minutes from Couvin. The kitchen was great with large family-style rooms.

Très belle maison, spacieuse, bien équipée, nous vons même trouvé tout le nécessaire pour notre petite de 2 ans. La proximité avec la rivière est très agréable. Le point négatif était la ducasse dont nous n'étions pas au courant, mais nous en avons parlé avec la propriétaire. Les rideaux des chambres sont peut être à revoir car pas très occultant. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour entre amis et avec les enfants.

Het is een ruime woning met een fantastische tuin. Er was van alles genoeg aanwezig. Persoonlijk zou ik iets meer tijd steken in het onderhoud van de woning. De ligging is prachtig! De tuin is ook fantastisch!

Wat hebben wij genoten van dit heerlijke grote huis waar alles te vinden is wat je nodig hebt. Zelfs een buikdrager die we vergeten waren, werd ons nog gebracht. Een appje en de verhuurder stond voor ons klaar. Mooie omgeving. Heerlijk gewandeld en de jongste genoten van de boerderij. Waar je verder overigens niets van merkt. Zeker aan te bevelen. Wij waren met kids tussen de 20 en 2 jaar. Voor ieder een goede plek!

La Propriétaire était très charmante et gentille mais un peu difficile de l'avoir au téléphone quand il y avait une necessité de communication. Il y avait une surpopulation de mouches, il parait que les vacanciers avant ont laissé toute les fenêtres ouvertes. Nous y retournerons certainment!

Belle maison en pierres. Super accueillante et idéale pour un séjour en famille. Très bien équipée. Rapport qualité prix excellent. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et organisation aisée pour les clefs. Départ tardif possible ce qui laisse la possibilité de profiter d'un long weekend.

Un séjour à Lompret irréprochable ! Le gîte est magnifique, spacieux, bien entretenu, bien équipé et avec un magnifique jardin avec balançoire, barbecue, terrasse, ... Il y a un restaurant à proximité, Chimay est à 10 minutes en voiture et on est dans un petit village tranquille. L'accueil par les propriétaires est juste excellent et nous avons eu toutes les précisions nécessaires sur le gîte et les points touristiques du secteur. Un grand merci !

Tof verblijf. Veel ruimte. Al het nodige aanwezig. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooi dorpje en omgeving. Klein minder puntje: bedden (matrassen) wat oud en dus niet zo comfortabel.
