This welcoming, 3-star holiday home located in Marchin, in the province of Liège, is close to the shops and restaurants in the town of Huy. It has two bright bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. The welcoming living space includes a living room and dining room, both beautifully decorated, where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest after a day spent outdoors.
The modern, well-equipped kitchen has a 4-ring gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, and blender. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and vacuum cleaner. On summer days, enjoy an aperitif on the patio in the enclosed private garden. There is an internet connection and private parkingfor two cars.
The holiday home is close to the impressive city of Huy, famous for its Roman history and imposing fort. It is also a remarkable place of remembrance with its Museum of the Resistance and Concentration Camps. The striking Collégiale Notre-Dame and its fabulous treasury is a must-visit, as is the magnificent Grand Place. Huy is also known for its endless ‘wall’, dreaded by even the most seasoned cyclists. Children can enjoy the nearby Mont Mosan: a theme park with animals, miniature golf, pony rides, and playgrounds.
You can also take a trip back to the Middle Ages by visiting the elegant Modave Castle. Located on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Houyoux Valley, it offers an exceptional view of the surrounding 450-hectare nature reserve, which has plenty of signposted walks to enjoy. Rustig gelegen vakantiehuis met het nodige comfort.
Het huis is mooi en netjes. Fijne slaapkamers, goede bedden en ruime badkamers. Bad is wel klein, meer voor kinderen. Keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is groot, maar het terras erg klein. De wandelpaden direct vanaf het huis zijn er maar helaas niet onderhouden. Behoorlijk begroeid. Wij hadden last van een steenmarter die onze auto erg aantrekkelijk vond. De auto de rest van de week aan de doorgaande weg gezet.
Ruim vakantiehuis en mooi gelegen in alle rust. De slaapkamers zijn boven en beneden. Beneden is een bed van 160x200 en boven 180x200. Boven is een bad. Woonkamer en keuken zijn ruim en het blijft er heerlijk koel. Wij misten horren en 2 koffie kopjes is echt te weinig. Verder zijn er nog wel dingetjes die niet helemaal/netjes zijn afgewerkt in huis en tuin. Communicatie met de gastvrouw was via de app en heel prettig en snel. Al met al zijn wij tevreden geweest.
Uitermate prettig huis met de juiste voorzieningen. Meteen aan wandel/fietsroutes gelegen. Huy op 10 minuten met auto.
We hebben een fijne tijd gehad in dit mooie huis. Gelegen in een prachtige omgeving.
Zeer fijn en origineel vakantiehuis met veel karakter, in een prachtige omgeving. Eervolle vermelding voor de inrichting en de kunstwerken! Fijne tuin met veel privacy. Tip: rookmelders, het keukengerei mag wat aanvulling (keukenmessen, koffiekoppen).
