Next to the dining-room you'll also find a great kitchen with a big cooker, and an attractive living area. The 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are well laid out over the top two floors of this attractive semi-attached property, providing cosy self-catering accommodation for everyone. Outside there's a beautiful private garden with a huge lawn to play on and lots of outdoor games. So no problem keeping the family entertained while you get the barbeque fired up: with a choice of badminton as well as a swing and a sandpit, they'll really be in their element.
This big rental house in the Ardennes is an ideal base for holidays exploring some of the most charming towns and villages in Belgium - and tasting the delicious food and drink of this delightful part of Belgium. The tourist attractions on offer include Maredous itself where the three Abbey ales are re-fermented in the bottle for a distinctive taste. The Abbey is also a great starting point for exploring the beautiful countryside of the Ardennes on foot.
A few kilometers from Maredsous lies the village of Falaën, one of "les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie". Here you can visit the ruins of Montaigle Castle and explore the beautiful valley with Les Draisines de la Molignée. A 'draisine' is a railbike which takes up to four people, so make sure everyone does their share!
Riding a draisine is a gentle adventure along old railway lines - for water-borne fun just drive a little further to the town of Dinant, where you can rent a boat or take a cruise. Or for an exciting and challenging day out, try the outdoor activities at Dinant Aventure.

Netjes, voldoende uitgeruste keuken, voldoende bedden, voldoende sanitair, ruimte binnen en buiten om te spelen, goede bedden,( sommige kraken een beetje). Sommige accessoires zijn wat wankel vastgemaakt aan de muur. Al bij al een toffe locatie. Fijn weekend gehad.

Superfijne plek met een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Huis voldeed aan onze wensen. Er zouden ophanghaakjes in de douches op de 2e verdieping mogen komen, zodat je de douchekop niet hoeft vast te houden. En eventueel een grote parasol of tarp voor als het regent. Maar verder helemaal leuk en top!

Een gezellig vakantiehuis, aangepast en voorzien voor 20 man. De eigenaar geeft bij aankomst de nodige uitleg . Een grootwarenhuis ligt op 4 km. verder en is 7 op 7 open. Ook de abdij van Maredsous is vlakbij, met een speeltuin en wandelroutes.

Dit verblijf hebben we geboekt met 20 vrienden. We waren verrast door de goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De accommodatie was schoon en er was ruim voldoende servies, kookgerei en keukenapparatuur. Er was voldoende parkeerruimte en het uitzicht is ook mooi. De eigenaar spreekt Frans, is vriendelijk en legt geduldig alles uit aan mensen die niet goed Frans kunnen. De activiteiten in de omgeving (Draisines & Dinant Aventure) zijn een grote aanrader!
