This holiday home is a farm with a square courtyard. It has been furnished with care to preserve the building’s original character. You’ll enjoy an incredible view over the surrounding fields. The large children’s play area is a bonus. You can also set off to explore the region on a range of cultural outings. The property is a stone’s throw from Modave Castle and there are also lots of hiking options. With its six ensuite bedrooms, you’ll have your privacy even if you’re staying with a large group. The patio, open hearth, BBQ grill, and well-equipped kitchen will help make your stay even more enjoyable. The games room, garden, and outdoor games (swings, slides) will ensure that your children also have a fun holiday. This property in Modave is ideal for groups of 20 to 22 guests and is spacious enough to ensure privacy for all.
Please note: This property is a detached house. You will need to bring your own sheets and towels. Small pets are welcome subject to the owner’s agreement. It is also possible to stable your horses in stalls or meadows on request.
This chalet is located south of Jehay Castle and its museum. Head off for boat trips or try adventure activities, such as GPS dropping, kayaking on the Ourthe River, or rafting at La Petite Merveille. There is definitely something for everyone there!

Het vakantiehuis was basic helemaal in orde ; toch misten we enkele kleine dingen die het verblijf nog een extra +punt kunnen bezorgen. Bv. onderleggers voor op de eettafel ; een theepot / thermos ; cava/ champagnefluiten ; parasols /ligstoelen voor het terras/tuin ; iets meer spelmateriaal voor kinderen (petanqueballen... er is een baan) / badmington spullen ; in alle toiletten een vuilnisemmertje / propere toiletborstels. Dit zijn maar tips, beschouw ze niet als kritiek !

Het huisje was prachtig en goed voorzien van materiaal. Ook de omgeving is, zeker er mooi weer is, prachtig om in rond te wandelen. We hebben zeker genoten van ons weekend in dit huisje, ondanks het feit dat het ontvangst vrij matig was. De gastvrouw stelde zich namelijk enorm streng op, en deed eigenlijk alsof wij de regels toch niet zouden respecteren. Ook op communicatie achteraf werd er niet geantwoord. Dit kan toch wel beter. Het is zeker mogelijk om zowel strict als vriendelijk te zijn.

Wederom een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Dit was voor ons de tweede keer in dit huis. Ideaal met bij iedere slaapkamer een eigen badkamer en een hele gezellige keuken. Wij gaan weer boeken voor volgend jaar.

Wij hadden een aangenaam verblijf in dit ruime vakantiehuis. De speelschuur was een meerwaarde voor de kinderen. De badkamers waren in orde en proper. De heel ruime keuken was geriefelijk en ruim uitgerust. Enige nadeel was dat er weinig activiteiten in de nabije omgeving waren. Om iets te doen moest je al naar Durbuy rijden.

Maison très agréable au bout d'une rue, au milieu de prairies avec chevaux. Elle est très pratique à plusieurs points de vue: sdb avec chaque chambre, lits individuels, moustiquaires aux fenêtres, grande cuisine bien équipée, grande salle de séjour, salle de jeu indépendante et très beau jardin avec BBQ et tables. De plus, très bon accueil des propriétaires.

Goed huis, mooie ligging, leuk dat de paarden geheel vrij rondom de woning kunnen lopen. Goed uitgerust, inrichting iets gedateerd. Minpunt is de erg lage ingang naar de keuken (meerdere personen hebben daar hun hoofd gestoten). Een overdekt terras zou een meerwaarde zijn. Op de dag van vertrek was niemand bereikbaar om de sleutels in ontvangst te nemen.

Een fijn huis voor onze vriendengroep van 10 volwassenen en 10 kids. Het ligt vrij dus je kunt een muziekje aanzetten en iedere slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer. Mevrouw Etienne is zeer aardig en we gaan zeker volgend jaar terug naar dit huis.
