Located in a small village in the Ardennes, in the province of Luxembourg (Belgium), this old farmhouse has been converted into a 4-star cottage, and the result is full of charm.
With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, here you can comfortably enjoy a stay for ten people. Some bedrooms are almost a suite, with a private bathroom.
The living space is large and features an open plan organized in several zones: two sitting areas (one with fireplace), two dining areas, a billiards table...
Throughout the house, light is everywhere. And the decoration has an authentic style, with a lot of textures (visible wooden beams, wood and stone details...), materials, plus soft and comforting tones.
With its beautiful frame, the terrace is a lovely reminder of the former life of the building.
In the garden, you can enjoy the terrace with barbecue, a petanque terrain, and a wellness area that is equipped with an infrared cabin, which is warmer than a traditional sauna, and a Nordic bath.
If the house has many amenities to keep you busy, the surrounding region also has many attractions.
The village of Maissin is on the entity of Paliseul. There you will find some excellent restaurants and activities for the whole family to enjoy in any season, such as the new Mudia Museum in Redu, the Euro Space Center in Transinne, and mountain bikes for rent, for example. Next door, in Graide, discover the Garden of Owls and its majestic birds of prey. And near Bouillon, admire a beautiful viewpoint in Rochehaut and explore the region on a horseback ride.
Are you coming in winter? Then you can enjoy the cross-country ski trails in Gedinne.

Heel ruim en mooi huis in een prachtige omgeving, echte aanrader. Ook het ontvangst, uitleg en afsluiting was heel hartelijk. Ben er met kinderen en kleinkinderen geweest en ook zij vonden het geweldig. Namens mij en de familie heel erg bedankt.

Heel mooi huis, mooie tuin, goed gelegen om lange wandelingen te maken. 2 minpuntjes: jacuzzi duurde te lang om warm te krijgen en geen duidelijke gebruiksaanwijziging voor de oven. Wij hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad in een huis dat verder zeer goed uitgerust is en heel proper is.

Het is een zeer mooi, ruim huis. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust met alle materiaal. Voor iedereen was er wel een apart hoekje of salon, waar ze zich konden terugtrekken om ongestoord te spelen. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en correct.

We vonden het een zéér aangenaam huis maar omdat het zo warm en zeer zonnig was miste wij een zonnenluifel er was wel een parasol maar die was onvoldoende Er mag makkelijker toegang zijn voor zuiver linnengoed maar voor de rest was het zeer goed

Een ongelofelijk groot ,mooi,praktisch huis , 100% zuiver, geen huisdieren toegelaten , vriendelijke ontvangst in zowel frans als engelse taal. Mooie tuin , leuke wandelmogelijkheden..superleuk weekend gehad met 8 volwassenen en twee kleine kinderen

Fijn verblijf achter de rug met vrienden. Héél mooi en praktisch huis. Het contact met de tuin vanuit de living is een grote meerwaarde. De woning is voorzien van alle comfort. Alles is zeer proper! Weinig tot geen opmerkingen. Spijtig genoeg waren de petanqueballen niet aanwezig in het huisje, jammer want een partij petanque op de prachtige petanquebaan zou een leuke activiteit geweest zijn. Maar zeker een aanrader!

Huis was zeer proper en ruim. Kamers en douchen eveneens. Zeer goede informatie gekregen bij het aankomen. Warm ontvangst! Zeer handig dat de lakens al op de bedden lag en dat er handdoeken en kamerjassen aanwezig zijn. Bij dit verblijf moet je aan bijna niets meer denken en heb je echt een vakantiegevoel!

Het was boven verwachting goed. De foto's gaven al een goede indruk, maar in werkelijkheid was het in één woord "betoverend" mooi. Het huis en de tuin was tot in de perfectie geregeld. Het ontbrak ons werkelijk aan niets. Vriendelijk ontvangst van Nathalie en ook het afscheid was heel persoonlijk. Ze zwaaide ons vriendelijk uit tot we uit het zicht waren. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en de omgeving. Een Top Locatie! Een aanrader!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour au sein de ce gîte. La météo nous a malheureusement peu permis de profiter des équipements extérieurs. Heureusement, les parties de billards on pris le relais ! Est-ce à cause du froid ou d'un défaut du bain nordique dans son système de chauffe (tuyau du bas ?) mais celui-ci, même couvert, n'est arrivé que péniblement à une température agréable qu'au bout d'une journée à se relayer pour ravitailler le poêle à bois.
