Do you dream of staying somewhere at the edge of the forest? And do you find nothing more relaxing than settling in front of a crackling fire in the evening? This former hunting lodge is sure to charm you and your family with its Ardennes character and cosy wooden caravan. The atmosphere is rustic, warm and really cosy, both inside the holiday home and outside in the caravan. In addition, each bedroom (including the caravan) has its own bathroom. As a result, everyone gets their own space to completely relax.
This is the ideal base for a varied holiday close by. The small but cosy Dinant is just half an hour away. If you want a nice walk with the kids – including picnic – we recommend the “Ry de Rome” walk in Couvin. A favourite of Ardennes-étape parents. Fancy something with a little more action? One of our personal favourites close to this holiday rental is the Fondry des Chiens nature reserve in Viroinval. This is a spectacular place reminiscent of Provence.

Het was een mooi groot huis met prima faciliteiten binnen. Jammer dat er in de directe omgeving niet veel te doen was. We hadden graag vanuit het huis wandelingen gemaakt, maar dat kon door jagers niet.

Mooie ruime karakteristieke woning. Keurig onderhouden en plaats genoeg voor 8 volwassenen. Veel privacy op het terras en veel ruimte om de woning. Op een vraag van ons over een vd toiletten werd meteen gereageerd en nagekeken. De bedden waren opgemaakt en het huis aangenaam warm toen wij arriveerden. De eigenaresse kon ons niet persoonlijk ontvangen en kwam op zondag even bij ons langs. Heel gastvrij. Deze woning is zeer aan te bevelen.
