This superb 3.5-star modern cottage is ideal for a stay close to nature in the Ardennes. It features four bedrooms, a covered terrace with jacuzzi, and a splendid view of the forest and the valley of the Semois.
Located at the edge of a small town in the valley of the Semois, this holiday rental awaits you in a peaceful setting for an authentic stay. You will quickly realise that the forest is just a few steps from your house, which is very convenient for going hiking. You can even admire the wood from your cottage because its back facade overlooks a beautiful wooded valley.
The terrace, the garden, and the outdoor jacuzzi all face this valley as it is also the case for the common areas. A large bay window adds light and nature views, transforming this area into a veritable lounge. The view is splendid in any season and all weather, from the blazing colours of autumn to a foggy morning evoking tales and legends, from rays of sunshine that accentuate the bright greens to snowy days when everything is covered with a lovely white coat. You'll get it: once you settle on the couch, you'll just want to relax... And you'll be right!
Nature is also in focus in the sleeping area with its broad windows. One bedroom even has a terrace with views. In total, this rental features four bedrooms and two bathrooms, including one bedroom with an ensuite shower room.
This building dates from 2019, so everything is ultra-modern. The decor has been well thought out. And both the kitchen and bathroom facilities are beautiful and functional, just what you need to make your holiday even more enjoyable.
Both indoors and outside, you will be close to nature, while enjoying all modern comforts.
Set in the province of Luxembourg (Belgium), the village of Rochehaut has everything to help you disconnect, with its lovely streets, stone houses with slate roofs, and its unique viewpoint of Frahan and the valley of the Semois.
There are also other charming villages to discover in the surroundings, such as Ucimont and Vresse-sur-Semois.
And what about spending a day in Bouillon? You can visit its castle, attend a falconry show, then explore the Archeoscope Godefroid of Bouillon, and finally take a stroll through the animal park, which also has a great playground. Your whole family will be delighted!

Een heel fijn huis met supermooi uitzicht! Ideale vertrekplaats om te wandelen. Fijn om toe te komen in een verwarmd en verlicht huis (ook kerstverlichting aanwezig!). De jacuzzi is zodanig geplaatst dat je in alle privacy kan genieten van het prachtige weidse uitzicht. Genoten van dit verblijf.

Een ruim goed onderhouden huis. Keuken heerlijk, terrassen fijn. Tuin is groot maar niet omheind dus niet handig met honden. Wij vonden de ligging wel druk, aan een van de drukst belopen wandelpaden in de Ardennen en er reed een toeristentreintje langs. Jacuzzi was een teleurstelling omdat er te veel chloor in zat (zo erg dat het leidde tot huidirritatie bij 1 gast) en er geen controle is geweest op de waterkwaliteit.

Heerlijk huis met een geweldig uitzicht. Het enige verbeterpunt zou zijn om het terrein aan de wegkant ook met een omheining af te sluiten. Dit zou handiger zijn als je met kleine kinderen of een hond hier verblijft. Het is trouwens een weg waar maar heel weinig verkeer komt. De weg wordt meestal gebruikt door wandelaars die op weg zijn naar de diverse wandelroutes welke aan het eind van de straat beginnen of langskomen. Het huis is zeer aan te raden!

Wij kwamen voor de tweede keer in dit huis. De ligging is fantastisch vanwege het prachtige uitzicht en de nabijheid van restaurants/wandelingen. Woning van binnen is zeer net en schoon, Wel kan het onderhoud aan de woning op sommige punten beter. Zo loopt het water in de badkamers niet goed weg en werkt het ventilatiesysteem niet/nauwelijks. Al met al wel een aanrader!

Zeer mooie, aangename en praktische woning. Toplokatie met panoramisch uitzicht vanuit leefruimte en slaapkamers. Wandelafstand van dorpscentrum met bakker, slager, kruidenier, horeca,... Aandachtspunten: balustrade terras boven niet echt veilig voor kleine kinderen en/of kleine hondjes ( te veel tussenspatie tussen afrastering) , barbecuerooster was niet afgewassen,stukje tuin naast huis langs straatkant zou best afgespannen worden voor hondjes.

Mooi, ruim vakantiehuis voor ons hele gezin en 2 honden. Fijn verblijf gehad hier. Enige tip zou nog kunnen zijn: aan de voorkant ook omheinen voor de honden. Is een klein stukje niet omheind.

Het uitzicht is prachtig vanaf het huis, er rijdt wel steeds een toeristisch treintje langs het huis en er lopen veel wandelaars langs. Als je op het balkon zit, heb je hierdoor geen privacy. Het huis kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken, en de in de jacuzzi zit teveel chloor. wat vaker het water verversen zou een betere optie zijn. Verder een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Mooi ruim huis met fantastisch uitzicht. Wandelen direct vanaf de lokatie. Brasserie van de brouwerij op loopafstand met lekker eten. Matrassen en bed lag heerlijk. Uitgebreide keuken. Verbeterpunten Warmtepomp geeft hinderlijk geluid. Stoffer en blik ontbreekt. Haakjes in slaapkamer en badkamer voor badjas. Jacuzzi doet het niet aan één kant. Speakers jacuzzi doen het niet. Te weinig kommetjes als je met 8 personen bent.
