The entire holiday home is originally and warmly decorated. Upstairs, you can sunbathe and rest on a beautiful wooden terrace. In the garden, it is blissful to enjoy in the jacuzzi. Do you want to barbecue? That is possible in all weather conditions, on the covered terrace in the beautiful garden with trees and some artworks. The children will love the trampoline while the slightly older ones can challenge each other on the petanque court.
You will stay near the small village of Thimister, in the Land of Herve, which you probably know from the famous strong cheese of the same name. But it is also known for its orchards, its many 17th and 18th-century farms and its varied hilly landscapes. An ideal place with numerous possibilities for walks and bike rides. As an Ardennes-étape customer, you will find more than 2200 ready-made tours in your free premium access to the GPS app SityTrail. You will also find some signposted RAVeL routes nearby. Be sure to visit the beautiful abbey of Val-Dieu, founded by originally Dutch Cistercians. You can taste the delicious traditional Belgian beers they brew there. Descend in Blegny-Mine into an old coal mine: Unesco heritage and a real recommendation! Do you want to spot rare animals and plants? Then head to the nature reserve of The Geul. At the reservoir of Gileppe not only cyclists and walkers, but also big and small adventurers get their fill.

Heel mooi huis, met voldoende mogelijkheden tot ontspanning. Hele aardige eigenaren. Kortom een top verblijf gehad, wij komen hier zeker weer.
Perfect afgelegen, stil, no-stress, aangename ervaring , onze hond voelde zich thuis vanaf de eerste seconde… wij ook.
Veel ruimte, net, rustig gelegen, vriendelijke eigenaar
Het was een 9.5. Een 10? Dan hadden onz3 oubers nog eens wens.. Ze hadden graag rolgordijnen of screens in de keuken gewild ivm privacy. Zijn toch 2 pubers ? verder super fijn en een gastheer om door een ringetje te halen.
Ce fut une agréable semaine passée dans cette maison de vacances dans la nature près des animaux de la ferme. La maison est bien aménagée pour tout confort. La salle de gym avec le sauna est impeccable, dommage que la douche ne fonctionnait pas. La bain nordique était trés agréable à l'extérieur (pas totalement privé). Le village le plus près est accessible facilement même à pied. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et offrent gracieusement des oeufs frais bio.
Het vakantiehuis is ingericht met kwaliteitsproducten. Enkel het zitcomfort en de verlichting in de zitplaats mag geüpgraded worden. De eigenaars zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen enkele vraag is hen te veel. Enkel de trap is een beetje gevaarlijk door de open treden en de gapende opening tussen de twee trappen.
Een fantastisch huis in een mooie streek! Alleraardigst ontvangst. Zeker een aanrader.
Fantastische midweek. Rustige omgeving in een groen weids landschap. Het was zelfs voor onze tieners heel leuk om op een boerderij te verblijven. Benoit was enorm gastvrij en ze mochten wat helpen met het voederen van de dieren. De konijntjes en kippen lopen vrij rond, voor ons was het beter dat we onze hond niet hebben meegenomen. Het huis is prachtig ingericht, voorzien van alle moderne comfort. De hottub, infrarood sauna en het haardvuur waren mooie extra's. Helemaal tot rust kunnen komen.
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en wat zijn we lief en gastvrij ontvangen en verzorgd! Onze kinderen hebben heerlijk genoten en mochten helpen met het verzorgen van de dieren. Heb je een jong gezin, houd je van dieren en een landelijke omgeving dan is dit je vakantiewoning. Vergeet je laarzen niet voor op de boerderij want alles kan en mag dus wees voorbereid in een leuke onderdompeling in het boerderijleven vanuit een zeer mooi en luxe verblijf! Wij gaan zeker weer terug!

We hebben als gezin een heerlijk verblijf gehad. De eigenaren zorgde ervoor dat niks ons ontbrak. ‘s ochtends verse eitjes en er stond altijd hout klaar voor de houtkachel.Het huisje is heel schoon en van alle voorzieningen voorzien. Het uitzicht op de koeien maakte het helemaal af. We hebben genoten!
Geweldig vakantiehuis met een warm welkom en mooie rondleiding door Benoit. Goed verzorgde omgeving en alle apparatuur in het huis is mooi in orde. Hier kan je genieten van de rust en er zijn op de gite zelf voldoende activiteiten voor de kids. Het vakantiehuis zelf heeft een kleine fitness ruimte, een infrarood sauna en een buiten houtgestookt hot tub. In de omgeving kan je leuk wandelen en het centrum van Thimister is vlakbij met een mooi cafeetje, een frituur, Italiaan en 2 restaurants.
Zeer fijne vakantie gehad met onze kinderen. Het huisje is zeer netjes met uitzicht op de koeien.
Fantastich genoten afgelopen mid-week bij Benoit en Nicole. Een heerlijk rustige plek, maar in 30 min ben je eigenlijk overal met de auto. Huis is super mooi en je kunt er met minimaal 6 personen slapen. Slaapkamers zijn zeer ruim met allemaal eigen douche. Ik zou hier zeker nog een keer terug gaan.
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille. Le gîte se situe au milieu de la ferme de Benoît et Nicole. Les enfants ont adoré la proximité avec les animaux. Nous avions peur que le bruit nous dérange, mais les nuits ont été calmes ! L'accueil de Benoît et Nicole a été exceptionnel. Ils ont été aux petits soins durant tout le séjour, sans être envahissants. Quant au gîte, il est décoré avec goût. Nous reviendrons !
C est vraiment un gite a recomande +++ Tout est reflechi mais TOUT J orgznise deja un retour pour l hiver. Propriétaire super sympa. On etait trop a l aise. Merci pour tout
