Welcome to this absolutely unique holiday home in the beautiful region of Vaux-sur-Sûre. This former chapel has been transformed with great care into an unusual holiday house for 6 people. This accommodation offers a unique experience thanks to the combination of historical charm and modern comfort. Ideal for 3 couples or families with children!
The renovation of this chapel began in 2018 and was completed in 2024. Some of the original features such as the beautiful stained glass windows and high ceilings have been preserved. The interior is particularly bright and spacious thanks to the large windows and the impressive height. The spiral staircase structures the living area and leads to the upper floor where 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located.
The holiday home features a little private garden and a private terrace, perfect for enjoying the peace and nature. With a wood stove and barbecue, it is the ideal place to relax after a day full of adventure. The garden furniture invites you to spend long evenings outside, while the proximity of forests and hiking trails invites you to explore the surroundings.
The location of the house is truly unique: in a hamlet, close to the Ravel cycling and walking route. The landscape offers uninterrupted views and you have horses as neighbors. The perfect base for those who love peace and nature.

Origineel vakantiehuis, vooral fijn om lang te tafelen, in de zetel te hangen... De slaapkamers zijn eerder aan de kleine kant. Maar je krijgt in ruil wel heel veel benedenruimte.

Al 25 jaar huren wij een huis in de Ardennen omstreeks 11/11. Uit traditie altijd een ander. Dit is veruit het beste. De kapel is fantastisch omgebouwd. Slaapkamers, keuken, eetplaats, salon : schitterend. Alle toestellen aanwezig. Zeer rustig gelegen (doodlopende straat). De gastheer: vriendelijk, behulpzaam, bereikbaar, bezorgd en discreet. Opgemaakte bedden, plaatselijke biertjes, haard brandt bij aankomst, zomaar als extra service. Iedereens eerste reactie bij binnenkomen : WOW zo mooi!

Een parel! Alle huizen van Ardennes Etape die wij bezochten waren prima maar deze was werkelijk uitstekend. Verbouwde kapel waarbij aan alles is gedacht. Zeer sfeervol luxe en ruim ingericht. De keuken uitgebreider dan thuis, heerlijke badkamers en zeer aangenaam contact met de eigenaar. We hebben nog niet de helft van de dingen gedaan die we wilden doen, puur omdat het huis zo aangenaam was. Direct vanuit huis sta je in de natuur en toch dichtbij stadjes. Wij komen zeker terug

Heel erg mooi gerenoveerde kapel tot vakantiewoning met alle comfort om een onbezorgd en leuk weekend of week te beleven. Zeer sympathieke eigenaars die een open en vriendelijke communicatie handhaven. Bij vragen of problemen ook een snelle en duidelijke communicatie. Het is te merken dat deze eigenaars met liefde en plezier deze woning hebben verbouwd en aan anderen de kans willen geven een toffe tijd door te brengen in een fantastische woning en een mooie omgeving.

Schitterend vakantiehuis, met alle gewenste comfort en veel plaats. Prachtig gerestaureerde kapel, heel goed uitgeruste keuken, prachtig terras met zicht op de wei met paarden. Goede ligging dicht bij Bastogne en wandel- en fietspaden. Absolute aanrader. 100% tevreden.

La Chapelle was een heerlijke vakantie. Hubert heeft een unique plek gecreëerd welke heerlijk rustig gelegen ligt. Samen met mijn vrouw en kind (1,5jaar oud) ontzettend genoten van La Chapelle en de omgeving! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Prima ontvangst (online) huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk genoten. Brouwerij des Coccinelles zit op een steenworp afstand en is een bezoekje zeker waard.

Zeer fijn vakantiehuis, we logeerden er met onze kids, vrienden en hun hond. Al het nodige was aanwezig en we kregen veel info en snel antwoord van de vriendelijke eigenaars. Vlakbij wandelroutes en langs de Ravel-route. Een aanrader.

Het is bijzonder om in deze prachtig gerenoveerde kapel een week door te brengen. Wij waren met 4 volwassenen. Zowel voor als achter als aan de beide zijkanten van de kapel kan je heerlijk zitten en genieten van de rust. We hebben prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. En kregen ook goede tips van de eigenaar. Wij komen zeker terug!

Zeer leuk verblijf gehad. het huisje ligt overal een beetje centraal bij als je iets wil doen. Om een mooie wandeling te maken hoef je maar de straat over steken,... zeer leuk en rustgevend uitzicht met de paardjes in de tuin die je enkele keren per dag komen begroeten, zeer mooi gerenoveerd, we komen zeker nog eens terug naar la Chapelle. een echte aanrader.

Remarquable gîte dans une ancienne chapelle rénovée avec soin. Mobilier et équipement de qualité. Un environnement paisible . La situation du gîte permets de belles balades grâce au Ravel juste en face . Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les contacts avec le propriétaire . Très chaleureux et attentif à nos demandes. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour. Idéal, pour les personnes en recherche de calme , de beaux paysages et de belles balades.

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks in this beautifully restored chapel, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The chapel is luxuriously and modernly furnished, with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The daily visits from the neighboring horses were such a delight. You can start walking or cycling (on a gravel path) just 10 meters from the lovely garden. Communication with our host Hubert was excellent, and his service was truly unmatched.

We hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf in deze smaakvol gerenoveerde kapel en tuin. De woning vond het perfecte evenwicht tussen hedendaags wooncomfort en respect voor haar historische verleden. De kapel vormt de ideale uitvalsbasis om de mooie streek al wandelend te verkennen. Hubert is een zeer attente gastheer die ervoor zorgde dat ons verblijf geheel naar wens was.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce lieu atypique que nous recommandons vivement. Mention spécial à Hubert pour son accueil, le soin apporté à chaque détail et l'équipement du gîte, tout y était ! Nous avons aussi apprécié de pouvoir quitter les lieux en fin d'après-midi, pas besoin de se dépêcher au petit déjeuner, c'est un réel "plus" qui permet de profiter aussi du dimanche.

Fantastisch accomodatie, zeer schoon en goed uitgerust. De eigenaar was zeer prettig in de omgang, behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar. De omgeving is fantastich om te wandelen, met de hond konden we direct richting bos lopen vanuit de accommodatie. Een echte aanrader, wij komen zeker terug!

Een fantastisch huis waar de sfeer van de kapel behouden is. Het is een ruim huis die alle gemakken heeft. Het huis is mooi ingericht, heel veel licht inval. Vloerverwarming maakt het heel aangenaam. De slaapkamers hebben goede bedden en de tweede badkamer is handig als je er met 6 volwassenen bent. In de omgeving kan je heerlijk wandelen en de paarden in het weiland voor het huis komen dagelijks even langs voor een knuffel of een stukje wortel ?. Kortom een fantastisch verblijf gehad!
