This 3 star holiday home is located in a small village in the province of Luxembourg and can accommodate up to five people. The area is ideal for walking or cycling. On warm days, the river, located just 500 meters away, will delight children. You will undoubtedly spend a pleasant stay with friends or with your family in the heart of the Ardennes.
Consisting of two floors, the wooden beams give character to this holiday home. The two bedrooms are on the first floor while the living area is on the ground floor. After a day of hiking or sightseeing, you will be happy to enjoy a warm evening by the fireplace in the lounge.
Outside, the owners have set a petanque terrain in the private partially fenced garden. And you can also spend pleasant moments preparing a delicious barbecue on the wood fire.
The location of this holiday home is an additional reason to stay here. It is just a few kilometres away from Vielsalm, where you can find several shops and restaurants. There are also many tourist activities in the area. For example, the Avenature Center offers many outdoor activities for you to enjoy, such as archery, treasure hunts, sensory walks, etc. Are you traveling in winter? There are many cross-country ski trails that offer a great way to explore the area in a different manner. Discover also the longest alpine ski trail in Wallonia at the Val de Wanne ski slope. Plus, the House of the land of Salm offers an interesting cultural outing.
As you can see, thanks to the numerous tourist activities nearby, you will not be bored during your stay in this holiday home in this magnificent region of the Ardennes.
Please note: the garden is not adjacent to the accommodation but is easily accessible and safe. For cycling lovers, you have easy access to the RAVeL Vielsalm-Saint Vith from your cottage.
Pets not allowed
This house is primarily intended for family groups. Non-family groups may nevertheless be allowed, subject to the acceptation of the owner and with a possible additional guarantee.
It is not allowed to organise student parties, bachelor parties, drinking parties,…
Mooi gelegen en prima verzorgd vakantiehuis. Een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een gezellige vakantie met mooie wandelingen. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst!
De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en de verstrekte informatie over het huis en de omgeving uitgebreid. Het huisje zelf was perfect en voldeed absoluut aan onze verwachtingen. We komen hier graag nog een keer terug.

Zeer goed onderhouden en leuk huisje. We zijn goed onthaald door zeer vriendelijke mensen. In de buurt van het huisje zijn tal van activiteiten te ontdekken.

Hartelijke ontvangst in het Nederlands met duidelijke uitleg en afspraken (die ook op papier beschikbaar zijn in het huis). Praktisch en gerieflijk huis als uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en uitstappen.
Goede uitvalbasis voor wie de streek rond Vielsalm wil ontdekken. Voor fietsers: het huisje is gelegen langs de RAVeL zowel richting Sankt-Vith als Lierneux. De meeste benodigdheden zijn aanwezig. Een vergiet heb ik niet gevonden maar waarschijnlijk heb ik niet genoeg gezocht. Vriendelijke ontvangst.
Heel mooi locatie
Maison agréable. Logement pour 5 adultes un peu juste (1 des chambres assez petite). Jardin agréable mais pas attenant directement au gîte. Maison bien équipée (vaisselle, ustensiles de cuisine, etc ...).
Heel mooie streek. Prachtige ligging en zeer rustiek. Heel hard genoten van de rust en natuur.
Niet zoals verwacht
It was cosy, rustic and we were met with the extremely friendly and kind owner. It was nice and isolated, yet close to stores and easy to find. A perfect holiday home.
Heel gezellig huisje, met voldoende benodigdheden ter beschikking. Het huisje kon snel verwarmd worden, alsook het douchewater. Enkel warm water in de keuken bleek wat lang te duren. De matrassen op de bedden mogen van betere kwaliteit zijn, alsook de zetel leek al wat te verduren hebben. Het dubbelbed is aan de kleine kant, het kan nuttig zijn dat je dit op voorhand weet rekening houdend met aantal volwassenen/kinderen. Los daarvan hebben wij van een zalig verblijf genoten!
Super chouette gîte, accueil chaleureux et super coin
Nous avons passé un très bon weekend de novembre à profiter de la maison et de la cheminée. L’accueil de Paul était chaleureux, nous avons a que de rien. Il y a des chemins qui partent de la maison pour se promener donc c’était parfait.

We hadden een heel aangenaam weekend in het huisje van Paul en Maria met vier vrienden en werden heel hartelijk ontvangen. Goed gewandeld en genoten van de zon in de tuin. De ruimtes zijn klein, maar het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en het was er super proper. Het ligt ook in een rustige straat maar roch vlakbij een winkel en mooie natuur. Wij hebben genoten!

Gîtes très agréable, très bien situé dans une très belle région. Accueil parfait, propriétaire très attentif et à l'écoute, de très bon conseils pour visiter la région.
Cela fait trois fois que nous y retournons et toujours le même enchantement! Accueil chaleureux, jardin privatif avec barbecue et piste de pétanque, départ de balades à proximité, tout était parfait, il nous a juste manqué un peu de soleil... :-)
