This cosy holiday cottage for 5 persons in Waimes in the Province of Liège was recently renovated. With a rustic appearance on the outside and modern accommodations on the inside, you will definitely fall under the charm of this holiday house. The landlords have managed to preserve the authentic feel of the place despite the renovations (visible wooden beams, natural stone, wood finish…). A convivial stay awaits you!
The large kitchen is at the heart of the holiday cottage. Thanks to its modern equipment, you will be able to cook wonderful meals for the whole family. You can also take advantage of the many modern household appliances that are at your disposal. Your evening can take place in the small but extremely cosy living room thanks to its wood-burner stove and the internet connection. The adjoining room was rearranged as a playroom where various games for children are available: a blackboard, drawing board, toys, game mats… all in a very colourful room. Your children will not want for occupations during your stay in this rustic holiday cottage! On the first floor, you will find a bathroom and three adjoining bedrooms.
The village of Waimes hosts the highest point of Belgium: le Signal de Botrange. This holiday house is perfectly located for nature lovers since it lies on the edge of the High Fens, a nature reserve suitable for long walks. Make sure you visit the Maison du Parc to discover the rich fauna and flora of the Belgian Ardennes. Do not hesitate to rent a bicycle to ride the famous Ravel that goes through the region.

Ontvangst was hartelijk. Gîte was proper, alles in de keuken was aanwezig. Badkamer was ok. We waren met een groep van 3 volwassenen. Dit is wel het max om een beetje comfortabel te verblijven in de gîte. Voor onze groep was de grootte ideaal, maar 5 personen zou wel erg druk geweest zijn.

Das Haus war gut zu finden, sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Die Vermieter waren stets bemüht und sehr freundlich. Im Haus war alles was man braucht. Es war rundherum ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und komfortables Ferienhaus, das direkt am Fahrradweg Ravel liegt. Trotz der ländlichen Lage sind Geschäfte und Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen. Der schön gestaltete Garten ist eingefriedet und daher ideal für Hundehalter. Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas verbessert werden (Messer, Pfannen). Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus in toller Lage.

Perfect huisje voor koppel met jonge kinderen (of grootouders) Bij slecht weer kunnen de kinderen zich in de speelkamer uitleven. Ligt aan de Ravel Vennbahn, dus fietsen ook mogelijk met jonge kinderen . Melanie is een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw.

Het huis ligt in een mooi gebied. De tuin deel je met de eigenaar, gescheiden door een schutting. Voor rustzoekers: wij hadden wel wat last van geluidsoverlast. Het huisje is charmant, sfeervol en bied een uitstekende bodem voor gezellige avondjes. Het huisje kan wel een paar updates gebruiken, zoals nieuwe pannen in de keuken en beter werkende wifi.

Zeer mooie, schone, verzorgde, karakteristieke vakantiewoning. Onze kinderen hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt met het vele speelgoed dat aanwezig is. Het is een oude, karakteristieke boerderij, die helemaal gemoderniseerd is. Daardoor zijn de plafonds erg laag, dus dat was voor ons als lange mensen minder comfortabel. De bedden daarentegen waren helemaal prima. Onze voorgangers hadden hun hond in de tuin laten poepen, dus daar waren we niet zo blij mee, aangezien onze kinderen er wilden spelen.

Prima verblijf gehad. Heel vlot ontvangst. Alles is proper en ideaal voor met kinderen. Er is een heel leuke speelkamer en alles is voorzien, ook voor met baby’s of kleine kindjes (stoel, traphek, bed, bad,…) Ligging is ook ideaal. Wij waren met de fietsen en de ligging is recht langs de RAVel. Wel geen fietsstalling aanwezig.

Een supergezellige woning op een uitstekende locatie langs een ravel en niet ver van het centrum. De gastvrouw was heel vriendelijk en het huisgebrouwen biertje als ontvangst was een pluspunt. De enige opmerking die we kunnen geven is dat het toilet zich in de badkamer bevindt en niet in een aparte ruimte. Maar toch heel positief hoor !

Zeer charmante woning. Ideaal voor gezin met jonge kinderen. Alles aanwezig. Wel opletten als je 'groot' bent. Je kan af en toe je hoofd stoten aan de kleine deuropeningen. Afgesloten tuin. Honden zijn hier ook welkom. Gelegen aan een fiets- en wandelpad. Mooie wandelgebieden in de omgeving. Charmant dorpje met zeer goede Bakker. De gastvrouw/eigenaar Melanie was bijzonder vriendelijk.

Voor ons prima huisje waar we terecht kunnen met 2 honden. In nabijheid van mijn dochter die dorp verder op woont. Vuurwerk vrij . Comfort in huisje : een wat comfortabele bank zou fijn zijn.
