Modern and decorated with plenty of originality, this detached villa unfolds over three levels on the hillside. Recently renovated, it stands at the end of a dead-end street, quiet and facing due south. The result: complete peace and quiet and lovely natural light, while remaining a stone's throw from shops and main roads. Here, the view over the countryside and valley reveals itself from the living area and sets the tone the moment you arrive.

A holiday home with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms

Right at the entrance, by the car park, you'll find the first four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Two of them even have a bathtub. One of the bedrooms is more versatile, combining a double bed with a sofa bed: ideal for children or an extra couple. On the living-area floor are two more bedrooms, one of which has a private whirlpool bath. In all, the villa comfortably sleeps 12 to 14 people and children are welcome too: two high chairs are even provided for them!

Good news for larger groups who value their independence: the villa has a second kitchen and several lounges spread across the different levels, so everyone can find their own corner without ever getting in each other's way.

One floor down hides another of the villa's gems: the heated indoor pool (28 °C and protected by a cover) and, right beside it, the relaxation area with a sauna for six and a fitness room (elliptical trainer and weight bench) for the more motivated. Then it's time to play in a truly unique games room: home cinema, foosball, air hockey, table tennis, darts and a bar corner promise hours of pure fun. In the garden, an outdoor jacuzzi for nine and a lounge area with barbecue extend the relaxation outdoors, in a huge 3,800 m² private garden.

What to do around Blégny, in the Pays de Herve?

A stay here wouldn't be complete without visiting Blegny-Mine, a former coal mine listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site that takes you deep into its underground galleries. Food lovers will head for the Herve plateau and its famous PDO cheese, while Val-Dieu Abbey will win over fans of heritage and beer.
