Anyone stepping into this light, modern holiday home will find it hard to believe that this was once little more than an old farm barn. Although the presence of Simon the pig and Sucy the goat is a nice nod to the property's past. After a delicious breakfast, put on your walking shoes and explore this beautiful region. Here you have many hiking opportunities, right within your immediate surroundings. For instance, explore the surrounding villages directly, starting from the village of Mozet. Want to treat yourself to some extra indulgence? Then book an outdoor spa, where you will enjoy a barrel sauna and traditional rain shower, a hot tub overlooking the orchards as well as a small lounge.
Gesves is set in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Belgian Ardennes. The Namur Condroz region is dotted with charming villages, manor farms and picturesque towns. For example, Ciney, the capital of the Condroz and Namur, the surprising capital of Wallonia, and its legendary citadel are only about 20 minutes away. A hidden treasure in this region? The picturesque village of Crupet and its exceptional heritage (an 11th-century castle with dungeon), its meandering streams, narrow alleyways and beautiful stonework. Highly recommended!

Prachtig huis, alleen geen toilet beneden. In twee van de drie slaapkamers wel, sliep je in de derde, dan moest je in de slaapkamer van de ander naar het toilet. De host was erg slecht bereikbaar, beantwoordde geen enkele keer de telefoon. Wel kregen we (meestal, maar niet altijd) na geruime tijd via de sms antwoord, wat niet handig was bij stroomuitval of de vondst van een gewond hert op het terrein. Het huis en de ligging zijn aangenaam, de dieren (kat, honden, varken) maakten t helemaal af!

Top verblijf met een paar kleine opmerkingen De temperatuur was wat aan de lage kant. We hebben de haard proberen te laten branden maar dat lukte niet echt. Keuken is wat toestellen betreft ok maar kan nog beter uitgerust worden. Er waren maar 3 wijnglazen voor 4 volwassenen , geen champagneglazen aanwezig. Als je zelf wil koken kan het nog iets beter. De omgeving is top. Twee leuke hondjes, een katje en een grappig en uiterst sympathiek hangbuikzwijntje Het huis is bij regenweer fantastisch ...

Zeer leuk en verzorgd vakantiehuis. We hebben enorm genoten van de gezelligheid binnen. Zalige bedden ....goed geslapen, na enkele stevige wandelingen in de buurt. La fromagerie de Samson i In Gesves is echt top om langs te wandelen.

I spent one weekend at the Farm in July. The location is perfect for two families with children. One of the bedroom is connected with another one, and for friends / couples it may be awkward, but works perfectly for families. The hosts live on another part of the property, but this was not a problem at all, it added to the charm and friendlyness of the location. The only downside is that access to the garden is not direct, (you have to take a small detour of the house) - a small inconvenience

Het huis is perfect voor twee families met elk twee kinderen. Wij waren met zes volwassenen en twee baby's. De toiletten bevonden zich in de slaapkamers; dus diegenen die in de kinderkamer sliepen moesten altijd een andere kamer passeren alsook daar naar het toilet gaan.

Quel cachet. Perdue dans une majestueuse nature, la ferme offre tout le confort moderne. Mais avec un cachet historique irrésistible. Nous avons adoré le salon imposant, abce sa grande tapisserie, son plafond ondulé, ses dalles anciennes et ses fauteuils confortables. Et que dire de l"accueil parfait avec un magnifique sourire. Mention particuliere a la chambre les blés et son bain en mezzanine. Quel charme. La région est accueillante avec une boulangerie incroyable, des randonnées tout autour e

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in deze prachtig gerenoveerde hoeve. Mooi ingericht, praktische keuken en zeer fijne omgeving, Het was onze eerste keer en we hebben onmiddellijk terug geboekt voor een langer verblijf :-) Er is ook veel te zien in de omgeving. De stad Namen is ons heel goed meegevallen met de Citadel (zeker een bezoekje waard), toffe wandelingen (bijvoorbeeld de kunstwandeling - een aanrader) en kastelen (Kasteel van Modave is top) ....

Prachtige woning in een oude boerderij. Wat mij betreft is de woning zeker 4 sterren waard. Mooi gedecoreerd, grote fijne slaapkamers, enorm grote woonkamer, ruime leefkeuken. De woning ligt ook prachtig waarbij je overigens wel de auto nodig hebt voor de bakker en boodschappen (5 minuten rijden).
