6-8 Persons - 3 Rooms
(Children and babies included)
NEW
Be one of the first to enjoy this holiday cottage.
This recently built holiday home in Houffalize is a calm and peaceful retreat, ideal for a family holiday of 6 to 8 people. Built in 2024 by owners who love nature, it charms with its fully fenced private garden, its views over the game park and a cosy interior warmed by a pellet stove. A rare bonus: up to 3 dogs are welcome.
A family holiday home for 6-8 people and 3 dogs
Spread over two levels, this 120 m² house has three bedrooms upstairs. Two have a double bed and the third, fitted with bunk beds, sleeps up to four children. A cot is also available. The bathroom has a bath-shower and two washbasins, and there are two separate toilets.
On the ground floor you will find a living room with TV, a dining room, a fitted kitchen and a utility room with a washing machine, so laundry never piles up during your stay.
A fenced private garden
The great asset of this house is its fully fenced 300 m² private garden, a reassuring space where children and pets can play freely. You will enjoy garden chairs and a table, a hammock (perfect for a nap!) and a wood-fired barbecue. For parking, a private car park with three spaces is available, along with a secure area to store bikes.
Views over the game park: does, fawns and stags
Set on a former leisure site, the house now enjoys a beautiful green setting in total peace, at the end of a dead-end lane. The great privilege of this stay: the view over the neighbouring game park. From the garden or even from your bedroom, you can watch the does, fawns and stags. In autumn, listen out for the famous rutting call of the stag, an unforgettable soundscape. The woods are just 400 m away.
What to do in and around Houffalize?
The house sits in the village of Wibrin, on the heights of the Houffalize municipality, just 8 km away, where you will find shops and restaurants. The area, crossed by the Ourthe, is a delight for cyclists and hikers. By the water, don't miss the splendid Hérou viewpoint and its meanders, nor the Nisramont lake and dam. Inland, the Deux Ourthes Nature Park unfolds countless woodland trails. A little further, La Roche-en-Ardenne is well worth the detour. Finally, Bastogne and its Mardasson Memorial will tell you all the facts and legends of the famous Battle of the Bulge.
