This charming holiday cottage will allow you to soak up the beautiful and quiet surrounding nature. As well outside as inside, the house benefits from both rural and modern elements. You will find authentic elements, like exposed wooden beams, mixed with bright colours and modern furniture for a true cosy atmosphere. The living areas on the ground floor are open (kitchen, dining room and sitting room) and lead to the lovely garden. The 4 bedrooms are spread over 2 floors, which is great if younger children need to go to bed earlier. The ground floor hosts 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 private bathroom and 1 extra bathroom). This holiday rental is perfect for family holidays: it may easily host up to 8 persons and the partly-enclosed garden will appeal to every guest. The children will be happy to find a swing and slide there. And you may even bring your dog along! He will also be happy to go for a run in the Ardennes forest!
Xhoffraix, Bernister, Longfaye,… The neighbouring villages are charming and offer great hiking routes for all levels. In this hilly region, the landscapes are always changing, which will make for varied and original walks in nature.
And the town of Malmedy offers dozens of activities all year long:
- outdoor swimming-pool, donkey rides when the weather allows it;
- bowling and cinema for winter evenings;
- museum about the local heritage and a castle to be visited (both are recommended!);

Het vakantiehuis telt 8 slaapplaatsen maar de leefruimte (eetkamer en salon) lijkt ons te krap. Wij waren met 6 volwassenen en dat was voor ons het maximum ‘ voor de rest was alles prima Bedankt

We waren daar met 4 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen tijdens een week met veel regen. De 2 kleine kinderen konden daardoor niet buiten spelen niettenstaande dat er buiten genoeg speelruimte was en ook omheind. De kinderen moesten zich binnen bezig houden. Daarvoor was het huis te klein. Eigenlijk is dit huis omschreven voor 8 personen, wat ik dan toch te klein hiervoor vind. Anders was het huis zeer proper, netjes, gezellig met alle nodige toestellen en keukengerief

Een heerlijk huis op een mooie centraal gelegen punt in de Ardennen. Goed bereikbaar met de auto. Voor ons heel erg prettig dat er een frituurpan in het huisje aanwezig is. Supermarkt niet meteen in de buurt maar met de auto ben je er zo. Veel leuke en uitdagende wandel- en MTB routes in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader voor een weekend met vrienden, familie of...

Prima huis voor 4 gasten! Maar ook 6 gasten gaat nog goed Prachtig gelegen voor wandelaars. Breed scala aan wandelingen qua afstand naar startpunt, type landschap, lengte en moeilijkheidsgraad. Met royale keuze aan restaurants binnen 10 km.

Prettig en goed verzorgd vakantiehuis. Zeer rustige ligging. Mooie, grote tuin die helemaal omheind is. Huis is voor 7 volwassenen aan de krappe kant. Prettig dat er 3 toiletten zijn. Prachtige "master" badkamer. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse die ook nog een regionaal cadeautje had voor mijn jarige moeder!

Un très beau séjour dans une maison très agréable avec un accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire qui nous a très bien renseignés sur les promenades à faire dans les environs. Le seul bémol que j'aurais à émettre sur ce gîte, c'est l'espace de vie de la cuisine et du salon qui nous ont semblé un peu étroit pour 8 personnes. Nous étions 5 mais je pense qu'au-delà de 6, on est un peu l'un sur l'autre.

We logeerden met een groep van 6 en onze hond. Net zoals de feedback die we hier regelmatig lazen is de woning zeker niet geschikt om 8 mensen onder te brengen. De keuken en leefruimte is daar te klein voor. Als je met 8 aan tafel wil eten, moet je de eettafel verplaatsen. Ik zou de beschrijving dan ook aanpassen naar 4 tem 6 personen. De huisraad is prima, al veel andere woningen gezien waar dit niet zo is. Wat we misten: verlichting in de tuin als we de hond uitlieten bij donker.

Gezellig huis; deftige kamers en badkamers. Wel niet zo heel ruime woonkamer; maar oke met 4 vw en 4 kleine kinderen. Wij zijn veel buiten geweest. Carnaval in Malmedy was top! Enige min-puntje was een onaangenaam geurtje; we denken afkomstig van het afwasmachine.

Heel fijne, gezellige woning. Beetje verouderd, maar prima onderhouden en zeer netjes. Alles aanwezig wat er nodig is. Persoonlijke vind ik het wel te klein voor 8 volwassen mensen. Met kinderen is het prima te doen. Heel vriendelijk ontvangst. Goede keuze qua vakantiewoning als u houdt van authentiek, gezellig huisje.

Alles prima! Mooie locatie! Geweldig weekend gehad met vrienden in de sneeuw. Het was heel gezellig met de kachel in het huisje terwijl het -13 graden was en een hoop sneeuw buiten. Perfecte mooie wandelingen gedaan! Alles is er voorzien!
