Located in a quiet setting in the countryside near Remouchamps in the Ardennes, this holiday rental features four bedrooms and all the comforts for a dream stay: a terrace, a garden, jacuzzi, sauna, and outdoor pool.
Built in 1890, this house is full of authenticity with all the comforts of a recent renovation as a bonus. Now a 3.5-star cottage, the house is built of local stones typical of the Ardennes. Inside and out, details in stone and wood highlight the history of the place and add character to your stay.
With its beautiful open kitchen, dining room, and a cosy lounge, the ground floor offers an inviting atmosphere. This common area opens onto a lovely terrace.
Upstairs, you will find four bedrooms and two bathrooms. All of them are simple, bright and functional, just what you need to recharge after a day outdoors.
Outside, a terrace equipped with a lounge, furniture, and a barbecue, adjoins the outdoor pool. For your comfort, the pool is heated and available all summer (from June to September). For relaxation, sunbeds are available next to the pool. And to entertain both young and old, the garden has a petanque terrain and a trampoline for children.
After a long walk in the forest or along the river, which are both nearby, you will need to relax. The outdoor sauna and jacuzzi are ideal for a wellness break!
Finally, this holiday home is ready to welcome your whole family, even your dog.

Impeccable mais quelques remarques : Les chambres sont plus petites qu’elles n’en ont l’air sur les photos. Le billard est un peu vieux et le canapé en cuir du salon n’est pas du tout confortable. La lumière automatique du couloir est gênante la nuit car elle dérange les autres et le sol grince à chaque pas. Il est facile de se cogner la tête à certains endroits si l’on n’y prend pas garde. L’une des deux douches ne coule pas correctement et l’on sent que c’est une vieille maison.

Ligging en het huis zelf prima. Is wel wat verouderd. Jacuzzi werkt niet meer deftig, sauna niet aan de praat gekregen, verouderde keuken en verroeste vijzen teruggevonden in het zwembad. Er zijn wel wat kosten aan het huis. Mits enkele investeringen een prima huis. Goede ontvangst.

Het had een fantastisch huis kunnen zijn. Maar door het achterstallige onderhoud op alles zowel binnen als buiten. Deze woning moet gestript worden en helemaal gemoderniseerd worden. En ook buiten tegels om het zwembad. Sauna en jacuzzie moeten ook vernieuwd worden. Ook het schoonmaken moet echt beter. Wij huren vaak bij ardennen een huisje 1 x per jaar maar zo slecht hebben wij het nog nooit mee gemaakt. Geen aanrader! Zonde..mooi plekje en kan zeker iets moois weer van gemaakt worden.

Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding dik en dik in orde! Veruit goedkoper dan haast alles wat te vinden is bij AirBNB in NL. Knusse, leuke woning, voorzien van sauna, jacuzzi en zwembad (zwembad konden wij helaas niet gebruiken ivm het seizoen maar hebben we niet persé gemist). Grote eettafel en prima keuken. Ruim voldoende slaapkamers. 2 badkamers. Wij hebben het uitstekend naar ons zin gehad! Zou dit zo aanraden aan een andere groep.

Sfeervolle gevel, typisch ardens huis. aangename tuin met zwembad en jacouzzi. Binnen wat verouderd en wat overvol maar bij mooi weer stoort dit niet door het gebruik van de tuin.

Cute house with yakuzzi and sauna. The floors on the first floor are creaking a lot and the bathroom doors are hard to close so people might be woken up if someone uses them at night. Location is superb for cycling enthusiasts like us, enjoying the LBL challenge and the pro race. Overall we were satisfied with the house.
